Im still using Gold Rare KDB who is phenomenal still. Sure he doesnt have the pace but his positioning is spot on, consistently gets in the box to get on the end of things unlike some other players with high work rates. No weak foot. Strong. Passing amazing. Excellent free-kicks. The TOTY version must be some upgrade. Given you say pace isnt key for you in central positions Im sure he'd be amazing for you.

I get that, if I hadnt packed him untradeable relatively early on I cant says he would have been a player Id have been in a rush to try, I have always thought he isnt a meta enough player in FIFA like you say he never seems ti feature prominently in FIFA does he, and i cant says I have a fondness for using any City players but having packed him I thought Id try him and my god for me the best CAM I have ever used. Thank you for your insight. I dont actually do a ton of skillmoves to be honest. Just the regular and simply ones, so I dont rely on 5* as 4 is enough.
How is his responsiveness? Like the shooting you mentioned as thats something I'd look for in a player. Thats where I kinda sometimes dislike Ginola as he sometimes feel a little bit slow and clunky. But he's always a force going forward with his combination of length, strength etc

Obviously the fact I am playing at a level significantly below elite is where my review somewhat falls down but is it all relative to respective levels? Id be very surprised if someone as good as you cant get the best out of him. I have him on basic and have been too afraid to put a chem on him after all this time in case I break him! Arguably the most responsive player I have used in FIFA i think in front of goal, very very quick to get a shot off in and around the box.
I decided to buy KDB. Eventhough I really liked Hakimi, but 2.1 million for a rwb is a bit too much I think. I had to change my team around to fit him in but I hope KDB will be an upgrade to Ginola as a CAM

Agree. Tried loan messi and benzema in toty cup. I have loan de bruyne so I gave him a try. he impressed me with his passing and long shots. yes, he can play cam but stay back while attacking to keep him out of the box.

Interesting - do you do that on all your CAM's or just KDB? I always have them get into the box. KDB times his runs very well and even though he doesnt have good heading stats he does score some headers for me and his finishing is superb.
I cant really think of a reason why I would want a CAM to stay back. I have my CAM on stay forward as they are crucial in ball distribution. Which is why I decided to sell Ginola again eventhough he's very good going forward, but his passes get intercepted alot especially when I try to play to the lwb and rwb.
Playing with very high passing & vision players always make me happy playing Fifa. I also love Modric
