Got Prime Nesta 92 from icon SBC and started to compare his stats:
What the point of card ratings if the 92 Prime Icon card has less in game stats then 79 gold rare card?

Shooting stats are pointless for defender ratings.

Theses stats are not pointless for defenders. But they are lower then in low rated gold CBs.
Playing wise they are important, but not when it comes to defendig rating.
They screwed Nesta over though.
They're good for in game feel purely because of how the game mechanics are but not player overall. If you go into create a player and create a striker with 99 defending but bad everywhere else hes not gonna hit 60 overall lol
