It is something that rarely happens in fut that three players are 35 years old and more get toty cards!
Messi, Modric and Benzema.
Some of fut icons and heroes are the same age! and others retired before 35 and got end of era. Other ones got flashbacks while thier gold cards are unplayable.

Bellingham is young, 19. He is the youngest one got toty until now. Mbappe was 20 years old when he got it in 1st time in fut 19. Messi got it in fut 10 and he was 21 years old.
This toty team includes 5 players who are 25 years or less. 6 players are over 30 years.
And getting into TOTY counts to what exactly?
Yes, Mbappe and Bellingham are good, but the pool of good young players is small and getting smaller. While other are getting huge trophies at 35, youngsters are fading while at 25.
Legends in football had huge trophies by 20 or even the big shiny balloon.
Yes, trophies has been given to the players who used to be in media, no matter what young stars did. Look how many goals Haaland scored for short period of time and majority thinks he don't deserve TOTY !
