Why EA is nerfing META cards?

Hello guys,

today there was found, that another batch of cards were nerfed:

Ribery Rulebreaker - 13 stamina -6 strength (Donk)
Dzeko Rulebreaker -21 (!) balance -11 agility (@Doumbia_FUT)

and it is not theory, coz here are facts:

- EA downgraded stats for META players
- EA is doing it just before bigest promo of the year

Why would they do it? Would it increase sale of packs if you favorite cards start to play like sh*t?
Some people say, that there are 2 type of stats:

1. on card
2. in game stats

and EA made mistake and change wrong column in database, thats why there was no change in feeling of cards, but change in graphic of stats on card?

Can those people be right? What do you think about it? It is geting serious now

They are mistakenly showing what they can do without notice.

Thank you for agreeing, but why do they do it? Stats do not change on itself, someone had to change it, and type in new stats. Why they were changing it?

Imo, because people may think of upgrading their players if they start feeling wrong, and for some players that mean buying FPs.

EA knows exactly what they are doing in terms of earning money.

Imagine, you are buing TESLA with 300HP and after 2 months they connect remotly to engine and reduce it to 180HP because new model just came up and they want to force you to buy it.

I cant imagine that EA could be such a SCAMMERS!

If Tesla users buy more tesla cars by doing it without any complain and no harm for their brand, they may do that.

The problem is that fp sales may be on fire .

The problem is people will not trust EA in the future. They will keep checking the ratings after every update. That's why you feel some cards are nerved without showing actual status and now they show it.

It stinks. All your mid-icons will be nerfed too most likely. Probably been going on for years. As mentioned above about Apple. They want and NEED you to upgrade.

Price does not dictate stats. These should be set in stone unless they are live cards?

Is it even legal to change the “product” (a card) after selling it (which they’re doing indirectly through packs)? It’s without a doubt a case of deliberately misleading customers.
