I can get behind this. France doesn't show any heart in this game while Argentina plays with alot of passion. Was it a penalty? I think its very soft especially considering the stakes of this match. But the 2nd goal was class and they have been dominating first half. So deserved 2 0 lead regardless

If Orsato instead of blindly trusting his var team decided to check the pen against Croatia himself, it would look differently. Same thing today. Marciniak should watch it again, especially after missing a clear Romero yellow for elbowing Lloris (var team couldn't intervene, but surely saw it and told him). If you consider that penalty to be too soft, then the conversation needs to shift from you crying "bohoo its rigged" to we should have stricter penalty standards. Paredes got pulled down, that's a pen. Sure it happens a lot, doesn't mean it's not a foul. Yesterday Dembele hit Di Marias leg causing him to trip while in a dangerous position to score. Might be unlucky, not much he could have done different but a pen nonetheless.
