Rivals season

I just think more has to be made of the whole season in rivals in particular regarding getting 8 wins each week. I mean right now I have my 8 wins but need/want more games to get both season milestone and then the 200 goal milestone (ok latter is whole game but when its in site you just want to go for it i.e to have pack for toty!)

I think you should just be able to get the wins as and when you want to across the season and yes get the "weekly reward" each thursday if you have met the say 8, 16, 24, 32,40 and 48 wins for respective week across the season. Even if you cant play for a while and yes win 8 games in week 5 you can still get that equivalent reward that you would have got in week 1 (or yes like you do now anyway).

Milestone should be less games say 30 and 60 games but losses dont count so yes actually makes a draw very much worth it.

I mean right now because its a wednesday I'm just better off scoring a goal then rubber banding to achieve respective milestones yet tomorrow oh yeah we can start winning again cant we to get the 8 wins. Even then when its say 2-2 in 90th min I've scored own goal plenty of times as someone might aswell win, jesus make draws a bit more worthy.

Then there is the whole going down 2 divisions for everyone, just odd really as what's the point in wanting to go up later on in season knowing your back down 2 again, ok better season rewards but still silly.

I mean what I'm really saying is whole system is just a total shambles but hey i do what I got to do and want to do based on poor system that rivals is.

I miss the old system, 10 games and you need an amount of points to up or keep the division.

Exactly even that was 100 time better than what it is now.

Same. I loved getting points for rivals by just playing weekend league. Never even touched rivals during the week. I don’t understand the 8 win thing. They need more tiers at least. Like 3-8 wins is a big jump. Why not 1,3,5,7,10 or something like that

I just miss having a rating which was a better measure of your skill level. At least that way you’d know whether you truly belonged in a division or not.

Glad its not just me! Ive done this quite often if its been a decent game and a decently behaved opponent, there is just no benefit to a draw is there so ive scored an own goal and took the L on quite a few occasions.

Glad its not just me! Ive done this quite often if its been a decent game and a decently behaved opponent, there is just no benefit to a draw is there so ive scored an own goal and took the L on quite a few occasions.

Honestly just had a game 4 0 up at ht and like why doesn't he just quit but nope he got 1 back so thought f it it's Wednesday don't need win. I just rubberband 2nd half whilst I took a poo etc and yh he went onto win and I got another game and goal ticked off so all good. Tomorrow though I'd win it, this is how bad system is EA yet my idea is lets say im on 40 season wins so get week 5 reward 5 x 8 wins but then at least this could register as 41.

OK current game went 3 down after 20 min but want a goal and got 1. Lovely can now rubberband the rest and watch Morocco france build up whilst I wait and type this. Oh but tomorrow I'd probably have just backed out at 1 0 as need and want win. Oh yes why not make it that if I lose this one it won't count towards milestones so no point staying in, Oh yh that's a shout but nah I ll just do what I'm doing then.

I’m a big fan of the checkpoint system we have, bc that seems to combat the D1 and elite div players from self relegating when they decided to have a trounce through the season, Im a D2-D3 player myself but even back when I was a D6/7 player in 19-20 it was so disheartening to play players who were obviously leagues better than me any just using me as a thumb warm up (I play baseball irl on a company team and it’s fun and all until we play a team of youth development kids and AAA guys who are using our league as a practice for their actual competitive league, sucks the fun right out but at least gets us to the bars quicker lol)

Rivals does need a revamp tho, I’m not sure what it needs, be it the system, the rewards, matchmaking, what have you, but it needs something

next game went 1 up 1 1 10 mins later, now watching listening to anthems. Just 5 games to go to get to 82 then 8 wins from tomorrow and sorted.

Still think this should be a thing. I mean take first week of new season dominated by Xmas ny period etc so why not beable to catchup your say 48 wins over the season rather than having to win 8 in week 1.
