Is the latest patch universally hated by everyone?
To me, the gameplay goes from 9.5/10 to 0/10.
1. 99 pace cards going straight towards the defensive line like a steam train for full 90 min.
2. Inconsistent GKs are deciding games. They were consistent pre-patch and now it's hit or miss. They save way too many good chances post-patch while conceding more stupid goals.
3. I am having severe delay issues after the match. Haven't had smooth gameplay since black friday.

Are you serious? Watch some YouTube videos from a month ago and than say again that nothing has changed 😆

No the real problem is with each patch the gameplay changes for some people, I mean two players in the same match don't even get the same gameplay so how can anyone tell how the game feels for someone else.
The evidence is there, after every patch more and more people complain about delay/Unresponsive gameplay.
"I still find it unbelievable that people come on and say oh your just complaining because you have to defend now "the AI wont do it all for you" or you can't LT shoot anymore that's why your losing. Get good."
My AI haven't intercepted a ball on their own since the first patch, All I actually want is at least 50% control of my players.
Wouldn't mine my Van Dijk and Bobby Moore winning a tackle or trying to intercept the ball either. My opponents AI go straight through my attackers all the time. Mine stand off because of the force field.
A multi billion pound corporation shouldn’t be making this many mistakes in a 1 year game cycle. I understand if there was a few but there’s so many problems mounting on top of each other
See thats what I mean, I have to manual tackle, I've had to since the first patch. But it doesn't work because I can't get control of my players, I can read the play but my players can't get into position quick enough and when I do tackle it bounces back to my opponents . It doesn't matter if all my players had 99 pace and my opponents 50 pace the problem is my players are never getting near my opponents. I know where the pass is going but can't get there or my AI player moves out of position.
But I know AI tackle is op it's all my opponents do while I have 15 or 16 tackles a match my opponents have 50-60.
This happens a lot and mostly when you are on cross play . You may also experience this on the same console . The feeling is you cannot control your players, feels like you are overshooting and your players aren't in sync ..
This is a server issue. Sometimes you can overcome it by logging off FUT , restart your console and then try it again , or if you have adaptive sync on your monitor it helps sometimes . This is not a fix, but it helps ... just use only the left stick and ignore LT /RT.L2/R2 when trying to defend ...but some connections are behind that skate / no control feel
The game really is a POS right now.
After I finish all the Rivals swaps will take a long break.
The lack of control causes the most frustration. Everything is random including gameplay…I think it’s impossible for them to make a balance gameplay..The best shots are saved while the worst ones go in easily, one keeper saves everything while the other one moves out of the way…The list is endless.
Don't feel in control of the game it feels very random I even bought a new controller, thought maybe my old one was playing up.
The best way to ignore FUT is never take it seriously, I mostly play friendlies and then pop in Rivals and a few Fut champs playoffs. Stacking up coins until the season restarts plus more patches ... I have played FIFA and i know there will be more patches etc. Once the dust settles, then we can know what gameplay to experience . For now, it is what it is .
The only way to ignore it is to not play it at all unfortunately.
Friendlies are worst experience. The GG experience more or less killed it for me.
I used to at least like SB but now I find it very boring.
It could be a good time for me to cut my losses and move on.
But so much better than the game after last patches.
EA does not know/does not care how to create games anymore and keeps in throwing shiny cards to make people happy.
They need to invest real money in servers and capable employees.

It was broken and it still is broken.
Nothing changed in how the game is played. Except that you can now play the exact same way with more different players.
I know many forumers love to drink a lot and then claim the game isn't registering their inputs anymore or whatever. But first of all that's not what good players experience and second of all that's nothing any patch would cause
