I Wish The Matchmaking Filters Were More Advanced

FIFA 23 should be renamed to PSG 23.

I am a fairly good player (110-24-20) but I am getting sick of playing PSG over and over again. I primarily play with Liverpool and I would love if EA introduced more advanced matchmaking filters, such as PL teams only, or simply just being able to filter out PSG.

Or at least go back to the old days where you could see what team your opponent was picking and give me the option of quickly backing out if they're picking PSG, instead of making me wait until kick off, which is so tedious.

I long to consistently be able to play against the likes of Man City, Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, etc. I would say 70% of my games are against PSG, 25% of my games are against Bayern Munich/Real Madrid and only 5% are against the likes of Man City, Man United or Chelsea. I have yet to face Arsenal or Tottenham.

It's so repetitive and not to mention, PSG have an unfair advantage with their ridiculous front 3.

Has matchmaking been fixed?

I like to play with 3 or 4 star teams but was facing 5 star even with strict matchmaking.

it is fixed, I mean there are more people that play with lower rated teams

I'd love an option to exclude certain teams from your matchmaking. Out of the last 10 games played I've played PSG 8 and Liverpool 2.
I'm using a variety of 4.5 star teams. It kinda ruins it when you are facing the same team over and over and over again

Not for me. I only play with Athletic Club and 95% times is against PSG... It's so boring than i don't play fifa as often as in recent years. Very disgusted

I tend to immediate cancel when I get PSG. PSG is proof that fifa dont listen to their customers. PSG has been a problem for years. PSG haven't won anything outside the farmers league and they didn't even win that last year however fifa persists in making them unplayable unless you are of course PSG. Its hard enough to score as it is in the new fifa but if you go arsenal and you end up against PSG You've no chance. Losers go PSG. If you score against them early they always rage quit. There is nothing sweeter than when you beat them. I always take the time to send them a private message when I do beat them. You know most controllers are smashed by people who play PSG and lose.

Sunt fan fifa . Joc foarte des dar trebuie făcut ceva cu zona de potențial al echipelor . Mereu PSG și iar PSG care nu a câștigat nimic în realitate și totuși are valoare foarte mare . Cei de la fifa ar trebui să regleze aceste probleme altfel jocul nu va mai avea același efect . Când joc online eu joc cu RMA și îmi da ori PSG ori FRANTA și câteodată din Germania și Anglia. E foarte ciudat . Trebuie găsit o linie de mijloc la stelele acestor echipe . Oricât de bun ai fi dacă adversarul are PSG sau Franta ești mort ....

Ive had the same experience. I only play coop with a friend, and its the same thing, out of ten games, here is the typical breakdown: PSG 7 times, liverpool 2 times, Real madrid once. We quit immedaitely when its PSG, but suffer through liverpool, tho they might also get the immediate quit soon too.

And the matchmaking is absolutely horrendous. We used to love playing with four star teams, but literally havent played with ONE since the game came out, bc yea right good luck beating PSG with USA or Leeds.

I know. When you use a club side you get a national side

EA do need to give us more control on searching for an opponent and let us chose if we would be happy to wait a moment to find another team other than the one we just met.
