OT: What happened to Mexico men's football national team?
I used to remember such a passionate team. Hernandez, Blanco, Marquez, Borgetti, Chicharito...
I didn't follow them closely in recent years, but the only matches I remember is 0:7 to Chille, 0:0 to USA and 0:2 to Argentina today. I don't even remember they have any shot. It's such awful football.

They lost the courage and determination in the 2nd half totally. I don't know what happened during half time. I think the biggest problem with this team is that they simply can't create any chance at all. If they are determined, they can keep 0:0 like the 1st half, but that's pretty much it.

England might be one of the most overrated teams all time. For the only sport they play..boy are they not good.
They are defo overrated. But imo so are France , Argentina, Brazil , Belgium, Germany, Spain. They are all terrible. England will get further than Mexico 😂👍🏼
I think though it's a valid point to say they suffer from not having more foreign based players. That's one of the things that's probably helping the US national team. The experience and education those guys are getting from playing in Europe is massive.

He didn’t retire he just doesn’t want to play for Mexico because of the negativity of the Mexican press. Also because of what went down a few years backs when they partied in the hotel and the blame was put in him

I thought Lozano would be the next star but his performance in this WC is really disappointing. I don't see him to be as good as stars in the last a couple generations.
