lag switch in fifa?

so i was up 4-0 to a very bad player, he pauses 3 times for the whole 30 seconds, resumes the game and i get two red icons and he scores 6 goals in the rest of the match as i couldn’t even pass the ball cause lag.

Is that a new thing?

Can t even report the player or match from the game..

There could be many reasons behind it. It could be something as simple as passing the controller to a better player in the same house.

It pops up quite often so could just have been a coincidence. As the saying goes "Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence". As we know, EA are quite incompetent.

Most likely someone who throttled their own connection to gain the connection advantage with lag compensation. Could be constant pressure too.

Apparently, i have been told by some mates that you can use the same lag switch that people use in Cod in fifa with the cronus..great

just had this exact same thing. im on virgin media uk 500mg hard wired. and eveytime i went to attack it lagged up. every time i tried to defend it lagged and he just ran through me. I dont normally buy into this weird stuff but it was just odd

Lag switches only work p2p. FIFA is on dedicated servers.
