The Patch That Ruined the Game
It seems every year there’s a patch that absolutely destroys the current game and completely changes it into a new one. This patch is now a completely different game than what it was before. It’s not just my opinion go look on Reddit or on Twitter you’ll see just about everyone has a pretty negative opinion on it. All they had to do was nerf Trivellas but instead completely changed the entire game.

It was pretty much broken from the start so not like they could do much to ruin it.
A couple of days ago.
The biggest change is that they fixed controlled and Explosive acceleration types. They work better now.
Not sure what they did with tackling, but now almost anything from behind is fair game. By fixing explosive, they turned it back to FIFA 22 = driven through ball and run….
Anyone on next gen might as well play the old gen version now.

Are you guys actually looking at what they've done before posting? Or is it just a "trust me bro, I can feel it" type of thing?
You can now run in a straight line with more different players. Nothing else. Dribbling didn't get touched, passing didn't get touched. They fixed a slowdown glitch. Controlled and explosive themselves aren't even different than they were before.
I don't feel any difference on old gen at all haha
Now began to talk about something else, and unfortunately for EA, it will be very difficult to find the optimal solution, although I would like to be wrong.
I agree, this patch did not change the core gameplay that much. People are being dramatic.
Bull, players are dancing on the field instead of dribbling defending is impossible.
Since patch all my games end in 8 goals scored minimal spread across both teams.
Convinced people cant even tell any difference for themselves and just repeating what other people have told them.
This game is loaded with sheep type characters.
EA should put out a patch that actually does nothing at all and you'll still see YouTubers making videos on it and the sheep bah-ing after.
I play a lot of FIFA I’m not a pro or anything I love football with a passion but this game to EA is nothing more than a cash cow
I wish EA ignored the pros but that won't happen.
All I know for a fact is that patch before this messed up my 4-3-3 (5), whether it's in the pitch notes or not nobody can tell me that the AI movement hasn't changed.
Used that formation for 2 weeks straight and the players in those positions were always in the right places (that I needed them to be) but after that patch I was constantly having to trigger player runs & control player run direction.
I wouldn’t be suprised if they actually have done that at some point already and the everyone in their office sat back and had a good laugh at Inceptions 25 minute rant video when he moans about a game that he admits he barely plays.

I wish I had recorded my pre patch game play with this new patch.
With Ginola you can run past 6 players and score, something you could never do before.
He is so fast I leave people in my dust.
And I sit there whilst doing it, and while it is in my favour, I can tell a massive difference.
So, you're either using a full bronze team, or you're just happy that we have gone back to FIFA 18 on steroids.
My favourite post patch threads are the ones where people say the games been ruined but then don’t actually say what’s been changed 🤣
But then when you do say what feels different the response is "It's not in the pitch notes"
Transparency and clarity do not sit well with EA.
Also I don't care about the patches but what's annoying is when you can see/feel the difference but because it's not in the pitch notes "people are making things up".
It may well be server related and the issue will resolve itself at a later time but as I said before I know the AI movement has been touched from the previous patch because my player movement for the formation I used consistently has been dreadful and I've had to compensate for that by learning how to direct player runs and actually having to spam a trigger runs for players who I literally have on "Get forward".
But since there is no pre patch version I can test I can't tell if it's me somehow changing how I've played or if the actual AI movement has been affected by the update.
