I wonder if this says that EA think they've miscalculated with the new system, and the need for a consumable to make it work. They may leave the concept in but let cards automatically move to the new position in a future release (maybe next year's game)?
But then I wonder if this is just thematically tied to the OOP promotion...
Either way, am stocking up using in case they turn off the taps.
I've spent a TON of these on experimenting and trying to fit my cards into formations.. even bought a few from the market. They're not cheap, 1000c for experiment... that you will just change again into original position in a few games.
So it seems EA did realize the problem, and offered some kind of solution. It lowered somewhat prices for the position modifiers, from 1200-1300c to "just" 1000c on the market.
Also, don't forget you have to sacrifice bronze cards for this, and unknowingly put some valuable card in.

This is the way. Just put your RB at his secondary position of CDM and have the card read CDM or Secondary Position without the need for a pointless modifier.
If you can move them to whatever position you want in game by changing formation, why do you need to jump through hoops to do it pre game?

You say that...just wait until it spits out something else!
Only thing I kinda wonder is why they do this with the pos cards but not those stupid crazy chemistry cards for the last decade
Says a lot about the sbc's
Had a look on the market and people are regularly buying them for as much as £2,000 coins...
Anywhere from 1,200 to 2,000, whole pages are being bought.
Some good profit there for traders.
No one ever said this was the brightest group…
It's also the only SBC i can afford to do.
In your position modifier?

Maybe you don't need 5 of them?
