Cross play for PS5 users causes button delay

If you are getting heavy button delay and mud like game look no further pass cross play settings. You are at a huge disadvantage whenever you match up vs pc and especially xbox due to the 120 fps on their version on fifa 23 . Disable this and you will notice a huge difference

Im at a bit of a crossroads with this. Enabling crossplay also means a wider base of (potentially) weaker opponents who are maybe a bit less hardcore?

It also means a wider base of top players, so will just even out most likely.

I'm on PS4 and crossplay is turned off.

Most of the time my players dilly dally on the ball. Or take a touch when Ive wanted to do a first time shot/pass....its infuriating

True, but I often read on here that the majority of top players are mostly on ps5. Not sure if thats true though

True, some (little) improvement, but the delay is still huge

Delay is still horrific.. you can have the same team as your opponent and their players are on crack and your players act like they’ve had an intravenous drip of nytol for 7 years… just make it fair and balanced.

the game decides if you are going to win or lose when performing matchmaking anyway..

Honestly, people have complained about this for years. Now we have crossplay, people are looking to that as some sort of excuse. If crossplay is the culprit then why did all this button lag exist in '22, '21, etc?

I know this makes no sense but i have come to notice that xbox / pc players are a bit weaker in general than ps players. Dont know how, but just feels like it. Thus I rather have them along.

I always thought my connection was the issue but I can play any other game with no problems...

Fifa is the problem.

I don't even think its delay, its just the game is a total mess
