Don't care if its meta or what you're trying to do. Abusing something to work past chemistry. proper sweat, don't think other wise

What if I use it to move all my center backs to striker for headers tho?

I just put my form on attacking. It’s not worth pausing and doing all of that every single time I want to play.

To be honest they made that switch formation thing for that exact purpose. It's not sweaty, or a problem.

It saves having to pause at kick off so it's definitely an improvement and not sweaty 😅

Of all the things to moan about - I’m sure EA advertised it as a new feature 1/2 fifas ago.

nah you just think that. its just a coincidence. why would they do they and defeat the purpose of the entire chemistry system..

I would go so far as to say this is the main feature of Ultimate Team.

I do it and dont believe its sweaty at all, I start as 523 and move to 442 in game.

The reason being is I want to play Alaba as CDM where he plays for his country but they havent given him any position changes, I also want Messi as CF but again same problem.

I dont think this is a user problem and more a problem with FUT in general, the chemistry system is difficult enough in determining who you use but it also determines you formations too.

I would prefer if I could just choose who I wanted, where I wanted but I cant and this is the work around.

Formation changing allows me to use Arnautovic at CAM instead of maybe Dybala?

    Oh the sweat of it.

FUT forces a nonsensical chemistry system up on us, hence they they give you the option to change formation in game.

I assume you've played normal Fifa? Such as online seasons or playing against a mate?

You can put a player in any position you want and off your team goes. Just as it should be in FUT.

yes. but chemistry is legit the DIFFERENCE between FUT and other game modes. What's the actual point of playing if the only obstacle they give you in team building is irrelevant. You seriously think they they do it to give people intention to switch in game.. You're up a tree

completely agree. Its viable especially when you're experimenting with new solutions without the commitment.

But when you gotta do it every single game, more specifically pause and make subs. You're a sweatster. People are just upset about being called sweaty, that's all.

Give over. I change from a 4-4-1-1 to a 4-3-3 solely because my LM can't play LW. I'd hardly call that sweaty.

Ah so it's the pauses at kick off you don't like cause I change tactics and formation at the beginning of the game but mine are all pre set so only need to use the dpad and real life teams change tactics all the time if something isn't working

Doesn’t look like many people agree at all but clearly no arguing with your logic 😂

Don’t really think this is an issue at all otherwise you’d be locked in to using even more specific players / combos

    I think you're confused...

Nobody is pausing and making subs (only sweats that can't fit a player they want into their starting line up...I agree doing that is sweaty if this is your main gripe).

You have 4 pre set formations that you can implement by pressing left, right, up or down on the Dpad.

Simply changing to any of these set ups during the game can't be seen as sweaty.... In fact this could, only by a troll on a forum, which could well be the case here 😉.

What's the point of making a thread if you "don't need people agreeing" ?
