It was a mistake. We do not know how many people opened the Hero pack. Many access the app at 6pm. Could have been 50% who opened pack. We will never know.

Honestly you sound a right melt with your smugness. I traded and grinded to buy my Ginola, I made a massive loss on a player because of an EA error. This is a multi billion pound company and you're telling me to collect my tears instead of asking for them to have sufficient quality control in place?
It's a total farce, from a company that has a track record of blunders and doesn't seem to either care or learn. The facts remains, I should be in this position for an error not on my behalf, I have been effected due to their error. I won't get an apology or compo. People lost an absurd amount of coins if they weren't on at that time because they didn't get the hero pack.
People who opened the pack will get compensation now, thus increasing the supply and making them worth far less.

It's perhaps the biggest mistake EA have done in the history of FUT. And most certanly it will not be forgotten. Hero market will not recover because of the number of cards circulating the market after this is about 10x more.
Of course it was about half an hour window time for skillful traders to make the profit, but those guys are the ones you encoubter in WL if elo is +2 or higher.
I've made 20k on Mostovoi, and bought Dudek for 17k tha's now 35k, because I needed a keeper. My profit is quite pathetic if I sold Dudek and I didn't sell Mostovoi after price rebound on 80k again.
It was a good lesson on electronic trading - you have to be fast as lightning and perceptive to realize opportunity in a blink of an eye. I'm miles ahead from such mentality.
