People knew about Sancho most definitely after his performances alongside Foden for England who eventually went on to win the U17 WC in 2017.
Plus Pep was saying how much potential he had prior to the breakdown in Sancho’s relationship with the club when it became apparent he wasn’t going to sign a contract.
