Brozovic set a new record for distance covered in a WC game against Japan; 16.7KM (10.3 miles). He beat his own record from the semi final in 2018.

I swear Brazil always call up at least one goalkeeper from the Brazilian league.
It's like some quota they have to fill.

At least he's letting him play. How many players get called to the WC and never play ehh3.png

Not only does Gavi not know how to tie his shoelaces, but he also wears odd boot stud configurations.

His right boot is for artificial grass, the left one for firm ground.
    A true genius.

I just had a look at Bierhoff's career.
A very weird one, he had basically no success in Germany, only in Italy, with one league title with Milan.
Got his debut for the national team at the ripe age of 27.
He had more to do with Italy than Germany, to be honest...

On his German Wikipedia page, there's far more text about his career with the DFB than his football career. :joy:

Nothing really odd about that. Jürgen Klopp was a very average football player too.

Well, Mourinho too, for that matter.
But they became legendary coaches, Bierhoff instead became the PR man for the national team. :D

    ...well that's an unfortunate turnaround.
Also, explains this sudden rabbit hole and posting it on FIFA forums. :joy:

Eto'o in a whole lot of trouble attacking a fan outside the ground, proper knee'd him in the face as he bent down too absolute disgrace

I'm sure he will get away with it though because he's pretty high up and knows the right people in Qatar
