I thought tonight was very similar to the Wales game, although Senegal carried a greater threat. We didn’t get going for the first 35 minutes, then grabbed a couple of goals in quick succession and saw out the match. A lot of good performances but Bellingham is an incredible talent.
France is the biggest test of we’ve faced under Southgate and we usually falter against the other elite sides. We’ll need to play the perfect game.
I don’t think he was particularly awful tonight but the spiral of Mendy’s form over the last 12 months has been incredible. Such a downfall from the elite keeper he once was.
Just watched the France game and although they are incredibly dangerous, Poland had a few chances and some defensive mix ups from France. It’s gonna be tough, but they’re not invincible.
