Earlier Release Date?

NFL season: 8th September
Madden 23: 19th August (2 weeks EARLY)

NHL season: 12th October
NHL 23: 14th October (2 days later)

Football season: 5th August
FIFA 23: 30th September!? (8 weeks LATER!?)

Why do we have to wait 2 months into the football season before FIFA comes out? It's crazy.. This needs to change!

Especially when the game is never in working order at launch and takes another 2/3 months of fixes before its playable..

I don't know how things work in NHL or NFL, but I remember when Fifa would release earlier and transfers were still happening and people would moan about that. I would prefer an earlier release, but also won't the squads up to date. Doesn't really matter when it's released someone won't be happy and it'll be buggy as hell or if it is playing well FUT moaners will get it ruined

its because of the transfer window. you have a ton of cards on two teams, likely in two leagues, one of which would be incredibly rare potentially skewing the entire market.

Those others games know what teams and uniforms will be in game a lot earlier than ours. Italy and Spain league makeups are not decided until June and France went even longer with the situation with Bordeaux. You have to create the assets for those teams in a much shorter window. This is the real answer.

Can't they just update transfers on the fly in weekly Squad Updates like they do in January?

They used to, but again like anything there was loads of people moaning, doesn't really matter what they do in this scenario people get upset. I don't get the issue personally.

Does anyone have any idea why Messi or Neymar still do not have their own run styles and animations yet? I’ve got the fifa 23 beta and I’ve noticed they have added mbappe’s, and riyad myrez’s own unique running style and animations aswell as other lesser players in the game, apart from Neymar’s rainbow flick and penalties how come ea has not implemented full unique animations for of the two most popular players in the game, neymar and Messi’s full motions in game are still generic with just boosted stats

issue is that people are so bloody addicted , they cant wait to waste hours on the hamster wheel yet again,
