Just following up on thread about "casuals" now not playing game which was more aimed at ability but I'm interested across forum and how much everyone does actually play where match coins a key category for that.

I'm on xbox so yes all might be a bit different on PS, but on fifa 22
top person in world has over 6.3 million match coins so yes a lot of games.

100th has 2.3 million and yes I have 1,269,543 so would class that as non casual? Certainly a million a good benchmark, less than 500k maybe you are a casual but yes all to discuss and interesting to see others?

Cheers

I wish I could say I was “casual” but looking at that I don’t think I am.

I am more casual than last year with 803000 match earnings.
I do believe this figure will be significantly screwed due to all the nil nil quiters lost count of the amount of times this happens 🤦

    Scraped to Div 2
    Don't compete (because I can't) in WL.

I'd like to think I'm a casual gamer. I get so much stick because I have a good team yet I'm easily beaten 🤣 I don't care though, I get what I want from it.

500k match earnings but I am far from a casual. I did pick the game up in December and I tend to leave matches if its clear I'm going to loss.

Yes all above assumes game from the start so getting game later but still get x amount of coins is a bit different so yes you're probably equivalent to 700-800k from the start.

Guess I’m a causal only at 514,972 match coins seems like I spend lot of time playing tho can imagine people with over 1 mill must spent double the time on game crazy

If you are on the forum you probably aren’t casual. I suppose what actually defines someone as casual. Besides playing the game visiting the forum you also have trading.

I would say someone who spends maybe an hour or two a week playing or trading is casual. Probably even skips 2 or 3 weeks in between.

    Agree, not many casuals here.

Hardcore and not very good, but not casuals

I would love to be able to play casually.

3 hours per week would be great.

But once I start, it is hard to stop.

Too risky for me to see if I can play casually..

I tried to take a casual approach but but really sucked back in during tots. Now I'm feeling that burnout again confirming that my attempt failed.

I’m a dedicated player. I don’t trade and don’t play rivals much but I would play all weekends and make sure I don’t miss out on cards. But then April or may comes and I become super casual. I do want the next fifa but I’m unsure if it’ll be a good idea. Which means I’ll likely get it

This is not a game that allows you to be casual. FOMO, lure to trade, apparently attractive SBCs, faster and faster players, more and more packs, etc.

In terms of playing I feel like the definition of a casual.. probs play 1 games every 2 weeks if not a couple of games.

But i love the web app while i work.. Biggest con that i had to buy the game just to use the web app lol.

I managed to keep it fairly chilled but the we the power curve spiked at tots meant that the grind got real.

I genuinely think I either have to accept and carry on or just go totally cold turkey with '23.

I tried to do just the web app one year...quickly learned that you actually have to buy the game! In an ideal world, I'd probably just web app trade until some time after Christmas.

602,000 in match earnings for me, but I also quit for about 3 months and didn't come back until TOTS. I'm not casual, but also don't have the time to play as much as I'd like to be truly competitive.

I want to come back for Tots in 2023. Not sure if is a healthy decision, will reconsider in May 2023.

I'd say I'm your average (or slightly above average Fifa player):
    - I play for the weekly division rewards (manage to join the elite division every season with 3 weeks left on the season)
    - I play every WL (humanly possible while not ignoring family) - to 11 wins / rank 5 (managed to get rank 4 only once)
    - I rarely play friendlies
    - I use the app (almost) every day

I do quit matches when the opponent has a 3 goal advantage (or when it's clear that the skill gap is too high), and that definitely affects the match earnings.

    Match earnings: 421 619
    TP: 143 955 462
    CV: 135 745 671

I enjoy more grinding menus and trading than playing this broken game. Playing WL only few times this season because I dont have enough time.

I consider myself a casual binger.
I only started playing it this season in June when it became free on xbox. Then binged it for Two months solid, then this week put down the controller and have moved on to other games.

I was hardcore for Fifa 19 and 20 but have managed to beat the addiction. Once you realise it all resets in a Month anyway it makes it easier to just stop playing now.

    started playing in May:

    234k Match earnings
    5.5m Transfer profit
    130m Club value
    197 Top squad

    rank 1750 - 1850 in Elite Rivals
rank 3 in WL (played like 4 or 5 WL in total, most of them got rank 4).

i really hope this is my last Fifa ever.

In terms of the time spent on the game and SBCs, not casual. In terms of skills and devotion, definitely causal.
For one, I don't play WL

I don't think anyone with those stats is anything close to casual. 616 million club value is absolutely insane.
