Still can't drop Weghorst, I just play worse when I don't use him! Tried to get R97 in for the weekend but I'm not even half way done yet
Using this formation as-is, no custom tactics or player instructions.
You think they might have grown a set of balls by this point of the game, but no they're still there trying to be as cheap and as desperate as possible.
Not started WL yesterday, but had someone yesterday in French friendlies with either Mbappe or Ginola, can’t remember which, who from KO, did the really slow, close controlled dribble, shielding the ball and spinning anytime my player got near, took him 7 IG minutes to get to my goal as he was just avoiding all my players and my AI player kept parting like the sea to let him through. Gets one on one and blasts it over
I did enjoy just passing round him to get to the other end to score for the win. I find some that abuse mechanics of the game, they’re usually pretty bad, so if you get lucky and they miss their chances, they’re pretty terrible at tackling/defending so a goal or two and they RQ
Getting used to it now!
Weghorst is still the man though, what other strikers can do this

Hit 15-5 last week with a similar team which was my best result in 22.
Should get my 11 wins comfortably and I'll go from there. I don't see a reason to gift many games at this point as high rated cards are pulled left and right. On the other hand, I don't feel like putting too much effort to deal with someone who abuses things that I personally can't stand in game (kick-off glitch, 65-70 possession, spinning in circles etc) so we'll see how it goes.

I do like Plea, he just doesn't have the physical presence of Weghorst. Weg probably scores every other game from a corner too

Weghorst is a proper target man,u can win aerial duels with him like no one else,his headed passes are pinch perfect,,his rainbow flicks go over the head of most defenders
I'm definitely done now. Played the same team 20 times. Defended 534 kick off attempts. Conceded 125 green timed finesses. Watched my opponent spinning around for 676 minutes. Each game my XG was 7.2 higher than my opponents.
Then to top it off....playing my last game for rank 4. The game disconnects when I get it back to 4-4 on the last minute 😅
4-0 with this team in qualifiers and will keep going with it until I get bored and use some of my league/team specific squads.
Or might complete Neymar and drop Kimpembe and go to a super attacking 4132 or 3142.
Only playing for fun now since there’s nothing I could pack that would make my team so probably chuck it at 5 and take the 92 rated SBC fodder.
