…really only there to exchange that pesky dupe (and 10 other fodder cards, of course) for a non dupe fodder card? Are EA providing dupes for this reason and just laughing at us beavering away in upgrades for nothing?

Immobile best twice - took him first time as didn’t have him already - on the bounce…I’d take him for fodder but of course I did it to get rid of a dupe so don’t want to be stuck with another…

I think the ‘CONGRATULATIONS’ message when you select the worst choice because he is the only player you don’t have (if you’re lucky) already is the ironic icing on the cake, and I have to tip my hat begrudgingly to EA…

Just found some 82+ with the low rated (lower than 83 I.e. all of them) rare golds that I got from a dozen 75+ x 5 that I crafted from bronzes etc (the pack weight is laughable), and got this…





It didn’t load up properly to begin with and the positions moved (which seems odd given the whole Gomez always in slot on/players having their allocated slot situation…it’s probably fine but it just makes me trust ea even less…companion app has been trash all day, and pack luck even worse.

I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s far cheaper buying fodder off the market than hitting the upgrades atm. This obviously equals less engagement but it’s a win for me as I will read a book whilst on the beach rather than trying to keep up at the end of what has been a pretty inconsistent cycle.

If you come out of a player pick and go back in, the highest rated always moves to the first slot and so on.
