2 games in a row people have quit at a draw. I’ve messaged to ask why and the reply’s have been:

Because I play boring fifa because I pass it about trying to break down their drop back defence.

And because I’m toxic because I sent a jokey message at half time when I was losing 2-0 after having double the shots and possession saying “how am I losing this 😂”

Ok I’m not being funny here, but if you can’t take a jokey message when it was OBVIOUS that the game shouldn’t have been 2-0 to them then there’s something wrong with you.

I thought we could have a laugh at the shambles that this game is, but apparently not.

While playing silver lounge,i have to start 6 rare silver players over my usual boosted cards to even find an opponent willing to play,,most of them quit at the start otherwise,others wait for my 1st chance to go in/out to quit

Everyone wants an easy way out these days

Yeh I've had to do the same in that mode

Not only that,after i won against someone,i matched him again n him with all his shiny cards left at kick off

I changed some cards,matched him again n he played for some time till he realized he matched me 😑

The only time I will quit at a draw is when the connection is terrible and I am clearly the better player.

I can agree on that. Pick up games out here are no joke. I played for cal state la. And we had some major pick up games on weekends sometimes leading to fights. Trash talking is an art form that has been erased by this new soft generation. Idk about you guys but i remember playing fifa online going back and forth on the mic with my opponent. Made an extremely competitive match.

It’s probably cultural thing. I think USA is used to lots of trash talk.(hockey, football, basketball etc)

Yeah, the lack of fan segregation and wholesome family atmosphere really make for some crazy times! 🤣🤣

I’m a huge fan of North American sports and I’ve been to most of the biggest rivalries (Saints/Falcons, Leafs/Habs, Celtics/Lakers, Red Sox/Yankees, etc) and can assure you, it is absolutely nothing like the intensity of a proper football (soccer) rivalry.

If you think football players don’t talk ❤️❤️❤️❤️ to each other during the game, you’ve clearly never played at any sort of decent level.

Tougher crowd meant as an athletic group
Not actual crowds—never said soccer players don’t talk trash.

And head down to a college football game
They separate fans the same way. Far bigger stadiums and bigger crowds(than Europe as well). NFL games are awful compared to college football atmospheres.

Some college rivalries have been around longer than soccer rivalries.
