Kick off goals ruining the game

It is just so unrealistic and frustrating. You work hard to score a goal, then they dribble round your motionless defence, while any attempt to stop them just creates a bigger gap for them to stroll through.
How do I stop this cheap behavior?

Some people are specialists at kick off goals.
Just stay calm and move players backwards. Then pounce.
This has been going on for about four years. I wouldn't hold your breath.
2nd man press, switch to a midfielder and try to intercept when he's trying to avoid the pressing AI.
If that doesn't work do the same with your CBs.
I honestly doubt I have conceded a single kick off goal in houndreds of games. It's not an issue. When you concede one it's almost always the result of countless defensive mistakes at which point it's absolutely deserved that you concede.
Most importantly do not switch players or commit to a tackle unless you’re sure you will win the ball.
You can completely stop it only if you delete the Game
They will never fix it, because some players just can’t win without this and they care only about money
Nothing better than watching someone try it over and over again despite having 5 shipped past them and it hasn't worked yet 🤣
Agree with this, you know a 3 or 4 nil RQ is just around the corner when this is their only tactic 🤣

I agree, if I don’t know how to counter it, then it’s my fault and deserve to concede. I don’t like be handicapped by not knowing how to stop it. I shall work on it.
I shared this video last week, but just have a look at this game and skip through to the kick offs. Opponent tried speed boosts every time apart from the 2nd kick off and he had 1880 skillrating so atleast he wasn't terrible https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/orison44/video/161218698
Few times I even made defensive mistakes by just tackling (e.g. on the first kick off) which doesn't really work consistently in Fifa 22, too many bounce backs if you try it with your attackers. But you have 3 lines, the attackers, the midfielders and the defenders, eventually you will succeed unless you made atleast 3 defensive errors and as I said at that point someone deserves to concede.
This is awesome, appreciate it man! Love your play style, nice patient passing and build up play, not spamming skill moves, and good defensively.

Also facing some people seems to master the long-range finesse shot from corner of the restricted area. Annoying as hell, yet nothing I could do to stop it.
I have mastered that for a while with TOTS Alaba who happens to sit on the edge on my box at corners. A ❤️❤️❤️❤️ move I agree but it is funny when you CB scores a hattrick.
People want to score. I will never understand this "what kind of player you are facing".
If someone actually went backwards at kickoff it would be bare weird and I would know it's some kind of possession weirdo who plans to bore me to death.
Go forward, start your attack, maybe the opponent makes mistakes then you deserve to score otherwise you don't, easy.

It's a game. You want to score. 1st minute or 90th minute you want to score a goal.
Has nothing to do with winning at all costs. It's just normal.
I don’t do it, never try for a cheesy kick off goal. I let others spam the exploits, I prefer to try and play a normal game of football. Probably why I am in division 3 and not elite, but that is fine.
It's not an exploit and it's easy to defend. It's literally not an issue this year.
Maybe you should also improve your defending so that you never concede a kick off goal again?
