take a break, and see if you want to come back next cycle of the game, that is what I am doing. A break is good, but most people complain about the game, say it's bad, and still continue playing, I do not get it.
I’ve not played fifa for almost a month now, out of habit I still log on the app do a few sbc’s etc. I downloaded Dying Light 2 at a discount, been hooked ever since. I can’t say I’ve truly gave fifa up, but definitely feel a lot better taking a long break.

Yup sold up my team spent about 8 million coins on packs and got nothing of note, then went and done ac valhalla and currently playing resi 2.
I've skipped the past three WLs for various different reasons, and otherwise just done a couple of objectives. Came back to WL this weekend and had a good time.
Life is to short and the FIFA cycle too long to get stressed or annoyed over the summer.
Skipped last WL, and have not started this one. Probably won't. If they kept the same Tuesday finish, I would, but don't want to put myself under any pressure to race to 9 wins - not worth it for the rewards. The team is already pretty much end game so not sure it's worth chasing more untradeable dupes that need managaing.
I've been back on my sim-rig on iRacing last week and enjoyed it, played fut champs this weekend, and hated the rubbish gameplay, think that's me done, just not fun anymore.

New gen the gameplay is much slower, but I'm so used to the faster gameplay now I ended up going back to old gen!

I hope I won’t come back for fifa23…I’ve been playing UT since 2005 and it takes a good part of my free time.
1. lag 2. no time to pass 3. when get pass off it doesn't go to right person 4. defence smothers me 5. I can't get near them though they run free and score easily 6. when I get through finally on goal players block the shot or the GK makes an incredible save 7. their players score from outside the box I can't score inside the box wide open 8. my players make terrible runs worst in the history of fifa or they do get a decent run but they are offside 9. my defenders cannot tackle but every once in a while get one in and the ball comes right back to the offensive player and he moves away to go into score 10. their players trip push body no foul let alone a card I do the same automatic yellow 11. they pass back when pressured and it always works 12. they never have the ball go out of bounds 13. their crosses and deep balls always find their players mine never .... zero fun
---not to mention the constant Time Sink and Time Drain as well as money waste for many people ... so many games to play ... so many objectives to do and then there are the ridiculous trades SBCs etc
I hate this trash game. I complained about the last one but this makes 21 look like a Footballing masterpiece in comparison. I can literally see the game decide "nope you can't pass in that direction", ignoring my commands while guiding the ball to a defenders boot sometimes in the opposite direction. Or completely ignoring weight and direction, guiding it into a player standing still in an offside position on purpose.
As usual it started off fun until they completely buffed the defense & nerfed all attacks bar glitchy botchy rebound/deflection counter attacks which is the only goal I concede now.

EA greed, poor gameplay & lag, player prices constantly devaluing massively, etc have left a sour taste for some time now.
The other day it seems to have reached a tipping point & I lost all desire to feed the machine any more. Feels good actually.
