Thought I’d play next gen since I’ve been playing old gen all year since the release was dreadful on next gen. It feels even worse now. How can players with 90+ dribbling and ball control just run away from it😂
Been playing the last gen for the past what 8 years of the same gameplay. I would rather play next gen even if it is still crap at least it's a little bit different to fifa 21,20,19,18

Kind of how I feel, but I'm constantly reading about how current gen is this and that.

Played ps5 mostly but downloaded the ps4 version when it became free. Most noticeable difference for me is PS4 - ridiculous long range shots go in (it seems a lot less on ps5, much easier to run and shoot as tackling is not as accurate, it also has a much easier player pool of opponents due to more users. PS5 - it seems to force your players to run in the incorrect direction more and also automatically drops your own defence too deep, it also has much slower gameplay but I think that is probably better. Both look visually terrible due to the game build and players being able to do 100 Scott Parkers turns and cut backs going through people.

I played some of 21 on pc via the E.A Play 10 hour trial and it is the best I've ever seen Fifa look.
Whether, it was because the frame rate was effectively unlocked and getting 120+fps added to the general smoothness, but it also seemed cleaner looking and with more detailed textures.
It may have been a little confirmation bias on my part and my pc runs via DisplayPort to a considerably nicer monitor than my HDMI restricted consoles - but even on ps5 it's not a particularly good looking game.
Then again, football doesn't give you a huge canvass on which to paint...so to speak.

FIFA on the PC is running Native Resolution / 120FPS+
FIFA on console is an upscaled Pile of ❤️❤️❤️❤️ running at 60fps with 30fps cutscenes
I just wish EA had more time for PC and focused on cleaning up the game in terms of Draft hackers/General hackers Greentime finishing etc (very minimal), alot of no loss glitches, squad battle boosters gaining stupid amount of points by cheating.

Yes, if pc had a comparable size player base, and the exploits/hacks/glitches were monitored and dealt with, then, of course, like it is with any game it would be the optimal version to go with.

I might have to download the ps4 version and see what all the fuss is about.

Old gen is garbage, new gen is worse.
