Personally think FIFA 23 Career Mode could use a whole new revamp. The game mode obviously has crazy good potential but it feels like for the past few years it’s been a bit underwhelming and too similar to previous years. One idea I think that would help out a lot would be the ability to control your youth team. It would be cool to be able to see your youth academy’s performances and would allow depth for you to able to choose what academy players you want.
First of all I do not want the game to have decided the score beforehand whereupon your player can affect that. Rather, the game if played should be fluent and depending on what happens on the pitch.
Second, if my player gets injured my club should be focused at getting him healthy; right now they want to ditch him and have wanted to ditch him for two seasons because he was injured for five months.
Ditch the talent trees, keep the perks. Make training sessions - and what you train - be the focus of how your player improves. Right now I can spam the same training sessions and get a similar result.
I am still in my first club but I cannot renegotiate my salary; despite players being able to if I play as the manager. If the club lists you for transfer, give us a way to beg to stay or prove ourselves (or renegotiate to a loan).
I get that most of your players play as Champions League teams but its glaring to see how much more attention that part of the game gets.
Firstly, I would like to see the dynamic potential have a much reduced effect. Sign a mediocre player, use him in all games, and soon he'll boast a 98 OVR. That's just too easy. I'm deliberately benching my favourites from time to time to avoid them growing too rapidly, but I would like for the game to produce the challenge and not having to impose it myself.
Secondly, while I would probably appreciate new features in the game mode, I’m more concerned about them releasing a bug-free game in autumn, or at least as bug-free as possible. I would rather avoid new features than to go another 3-4 months with youth players not having squad names/numbers etc.
Thirdly, I would like to be able to start on current date, in stead of always having to start ahead of the particular season. When you're in November or December, and your team is struggling IRL, it would be awesome to be able to pick up from there and turn the form around. And when the January window is over, it just feels wrong to start from beginning of season, since the January signings will then be in the squad six months before arriving IRL. If this would be too hard to do, perhaps a few dates to choose from could be a middle ground. For instance; Start on November 1st, Start on December 1st, Start on February 1st etc.
Fourthly, I would like to be able to pick among the scanned Managers and former/current players as your manager avatar. With all the cut-scenes, interviews and press conferences with the manager in focus, it would be ideal, if we were able to pick one with a real-life resemblance.

I agree, this could be an awesome feature. I would also appreciate the option to start as a youth coach and use the first season trying to win the UEFA Youth League or something like that. And then your performance here would dictate whether you're appointed manager in the same club, or you'll be offered the job in another club. I wouldn't expect ALL youth teams to be represented here, but perhaps a variety of the best ones across Europe; Man United, Chelsea, Lyon, Benfica, Ajax etc.
I believe you should still be able to start with any senior team like today, but the option to take the youth approach would be great and also add to some realism, I think. You rarely see an unknown manager just taking over Real Madrid or Man United, but to work your way up from youth has worked for the likes of Pep Guardiola, for instance.

So here’s some changes I’m hoping EA Sports FC will bring… especially to the career mode: 1. It would be about time that this game allows complete editing of any player in career mode, other sports games including Madden and MLB allow you to edit literally everything about a player in their career mode. From the players name to their size or shoe. Fifa’s player editing capabilities have been historically bad, it’s time they improved that. Even the editing features they do allow are really bad, change the kit - team size or normal - and there is literally no actual difference. They really don’t let you edit anything about a player. 2. The youth team/academy needs a complete revamp. We, the players, should have total control over the youth squad in career mode and, again, be able to edit anything we want about the youth squad players. It’s really not as fun when you have these random created youth players with fake names but you can’t even edit anything about them or their names. The youth academy could also be more like actual football club academies with games, tournaments, and training sessions. It would make the career mode much more interactive and the refresh that it needs! And lastly, EA can’t just give us more control throughout the whole career mode in general. The ability to expand roster sizes, Pat the current 52 limit, at least for a certain time/offseason, could be handy. Ability to further edit and develop a manager in Manager career mode - like actual development phases and milestones to progress as a manager, ability to be a manager and a player within the same career, and other changes to make career mode more interactive. Make some of those changes and it will go down as one of the best games in EA/FIFA history.
What new features / bug fixes would you like to see?
firstly, u have to state what platform u are. PC, and PS4, old generation , no any new technology and feature, PS5 and xbox new generation have next generation version. so PC player as me, no any expectation on this game, they just a copied versison of FIFA2022, actually, PC didn't have any FIFA22, i dobout it is a updated data base version of 2018/9 or 20 or something like that. they just update the data and avatar of player, UI, but all the things are same!!!!! when PC will match with next generation version???
i have always been just a casual player, and till recently was playing FIFA 16 coz it had everything so simpler: penalties, fouls etc... i also remmeber it was way easier to tackle or challenge when attacked. And the "slow" speed was actually slowER than others, which is what i want (i hate having to do everything very quckly using 3-4 fingers). I would definitely like all that back, though I am sure I am a minority.
The only real beef I am starting to have is to have to compose my squad according to their "happiness" bs. i mean, i dont want that after EVERY SINGLE MATCH someone pulls a millenial for being on bench for half a match. I like the team i built - 22 customised players that i hired - and wanna keep them. but i am starting to get irritated abt this happiness mimimi, ffs...
It is actually ridiculous for a simulation mode that NO manager jobs at all are available on summer, when they are available irl, and A LOT are available in autumn, when ther y are NOT available irl; also, it is equally absurd that a team which is dominating its league suddenly changes manager, as it is the fact that every single club in a League set their manager job free ex abrupto.

You'll be able to use a selection of real managers in Fifa 23 you'll be pleased to know. I also believe if you wanted you can move clubs with them which I then assume you could start at any club with chosen Manager for example klopp at Swindon Town

That's just a gimmick, though. I think most people playing Career Mode would prefer the bugs to be fixed first.

YES! That's the second time you bring a much welcome fact about the new game to my attention. Thanks mate.
Personally what I really want to see in the next career mode is for them to add some way to play online. Me and my friends have wanted this for a long time and think it would be so much fun to go head to head in a manager career mode or play as rival players building our careers to outdo one another or find our ways to play on the same team with one another.

I've read somewhere that Online Career Mode won't be a thing in FIFA23, but perhaps in the following inaugural release of EA Sports FC. So you probably shouldn't get your hopes up for September, if this is true.
I also have a hard time contemplating how an online career mode would actually work. Especially when the game mode is so incredibly easy, for instance to earn massive amounts of money and easily grow players to +90 OVR. Perhaps if the game mode was actually a challenge, then there could be a point in taking it online some day.

Thissss for sureeee!!!!!
EA need to really step up their bug fixing!
If only we had a closed Beta...

Any bug fixes would be something.

Well, look in my post above, there I've mentioned four priorities, and the removal of bugs is number two.

Shame the good news of Juventus being back is still dissapointing as no Milan, Napoli, Lazio or Atalanta so Serie A still out
Exactly, Serie A is still dead in this regard.
