Anyone play with both at striker in a 2 striker formation. How would you compare them? I know the obvious answer is Ronaldo based on reputation but Pele better in all stats and high attacking work rate. Anyone use both?

It’s not based on reputation but how they play, you have to look beyond just the stats. 5*wf is very important for a striker and R9 have the build and size to be able to maintain balance when under pressure from defenders. Pele is quite weak on the ball by comparison, this is crucial when you have very little space inside the box.

Pele is much better as a CAM where he has more room that takes full advantage of his amazing dribbling and passing, as a striker there is no contest R9 is better.

    I have both.

Ronaldo is much better. The 5* WF is a game changer as you literally can't give him any time or space from anywhere. With his medium WR, he'll drop off. If he picks it up deep and gets running, he's hard to stop. If you trigger a run and time the ball right, he's in behind. He's simply immense. He's best at ST, lone or partnered, but in a 4231, he isn't bad out wide due to his dribbling and ridiculous finesse.

I use Pele as a CAM, and tbh, wish I had 5* WF. He's probably got the smoothest dribbling in game, and turns very quickly. Playing him up front in a counter he is effective. His finishing isn't as good as Ronaldo's, and he's knocked off the ball easier, but his passing and creativity is top tier. Pele can be used on the wing, as a CAM, F9, or a lone striker if you play possession based.

I really appreciate the feedback. I have CR7 FB as one Striker(tradable), Prime Eusebio(untradable) as the other with Sancho FB(untradable) as a CAM. Thinking move Eusebio to CAM and Ronaldo as other Striker but need to raise another 200k...agree?
