My team is full untradeable and I like it..but I hate that Lloris, he is just awful.

I have 200k coins to spend.
I can fit every goal keeper on at least 8 chem.

So who would you get?

TOTY Donnarumma is the only one for me, who doesn't have those moments where I'd rather have an extra post instead of a keeper

Realistically they all have their moments.
I’d save the 200k and take VDS from swaps.

Personally dont think it matters.

I only think i would say is possibly height but then ive scored headed goals from corners against tall keeps who just flap at it

It's a pretty dumb decision to waste swap tokens on a position that litteraly doesn't matter at all. Areola 82 does the same job

Best GK = best defence. If you spend your coins on the best defence you can then Areola will do the job and handle the rest.

Any half decent keeper will do. They are all designed to have bad patches or the game would be incredibly boring 0-0’s all day (and there’s nothing wrong with a GK having bad patches either... just power through. It happens).

There’s obviously a difference between a 80 rated and 95 rated but just think of the top 10 keepers and chose the one that fits your team or you have a fonder connection to.

For me it’s VDS from swaps because it’s a PIM and he’s untradable. It’s in the long term team completion plan. It’s not just about performance. Play the game.

Also you can take VDS and still have enough tokens for all the fodder packs so not sure how that is dumb

The choice isn’t dumb at all. It’s an untradable PIM Icon guaranteed for free and he’s good. The choice is only dumb if you already gave the position covered or you want something else on offer. It could be argued that packs are dumb also but neither are... the only dumb choice is choosing something you dont want.

The game isn’t only about performance. The game is designed with the view to build teams. Why would anyone want to end the game with Areola in their team unless they had a connection to the player irl?

Performance wise VDS if perfectly fine, free and the final version of the card. Any of the top goalkeeers are perfectly fine and will all have good and bad patches. Chose the card the matches your game objectives imo.
