Passing is shambolic
It’s the worst it’s been, 5 yard passes have been kicked by a wet fart, through balls are rubbish unless it’s with your cb 45 yards away from goal. You can’t just have a slipped through ball to your striker, it has to be over hit, under hit and god knows what else.
It also doesn’t help how awful player movement is, strikers have to hold the defenders hand and can’t Leave their side.

The fact I have more chance of a 60 yard through ball with Maldini succeeding than a 5 yard through ball with Pirlo is an absolute embarrassment.
Whomever is responsible for working on the passing at EA should be out on their arse pronto as they're clearly useless at what they do.

I've played so many games where a simple pass that goes the wrong way and ends up with my opponent, leading to a counter attack and more often than not giving a goal away.
The whole system need a complete rework from the ground up.
EA know they need to make it easy for some players, the players defending lots need help, the players dominating need to be punished with awful passing.
I’d be all for good tutorials to teach us all how to go fully manual but i tried that for a week and it was a worse experience than assisted passing. Manual passing is virtually impossible.
Hit the nail on the head. Biggest issue in the game by far for me (and that's quite the competitive category)
I've lost count of the amount of times I've conceded goals and lost matches due to constant weak, underhit passes. Trying to play a possession style when players with 90+ passing can't make a simple 5 yard pass or through ball is incredibly frustrating.

The game on next gen is boring AF litral one pass wonders praying they get lucky.
yet my short quick 1 2 passing, gets me nowhere as the AI marking/incepting is through the roof, just sidewards constantly try go forward AI says no.
then they do one wonder driven pass and through
probably switch back to old gen if this crap continues its so boring.

Yeah but 99 rated pass players act the same so whats the reason there?
I still see slower players run like Bolt, so chem has nothing to do with the way passing has become so bad, especially when the players have been excellent at passing till now.

Remember, folk don't apply those chems for passing abilities...everyone knows that.
Today I'd say about 1/5 of my passes are either to the wrong player or are under hit so my opponent gets it. So annoying.
Passing stat littealy doesn't mean anything anything above 80 is just the same.
