Shows not only because Hendo scored but playing Bellingham as an advanced midfielder in a midfield 3 is working wonders for us. Hendo being there allows this to happen, Southgate's at the wheel, it's coming home

That’s what happens when you do not have a creative midfielder. Kane is the most creative player on the field. Him dropping back brings defenders out and opens space for the likes of Saka, Foden, Sterling.
He has 3 assists and a goal know. The tactics Southgate is using with Kane and the attackers around him is clearly working.
If we play how we have against a better team we would have conceded one or two
The giveaways early on would have cost you against France. The Maguire and Saka ones especially. Take those out though and England have looked good today.
For me it makes no difference who wins any matches, but from what I've seen so far, Mbappe won't have much problems against Harry and John. Kyle Walker will have to really be at his best to stop Mbappe from counters on Saturday?.
Credit where its due here ever since we took the lead we have been brilliant. Nervy start is acceptable may not get away with that in any other game now though. Happy with the performances in 3 out of 4 games which has surprised me.

Bellingham the difference maker so far - Henderson's start clearly justified too with a well taken goal.
Saka has been poor, Rashford should've started, but now we have the 2-0 lead bring on Mount and let him work hard to sure up the midfield.
