This is going to be a slower paced career focused on Crystal Palace mainly instead of putting focus on the entire league like I normally do. I will still be playing the Spurs career, I always tend to want to play a few games as Tottenham randomly but I have been wanting to do a Palace career and make it very difficult.

I will be trying to play on ultimate to start. If compute AI is crazy then I might have to adjust

You've departed with a few of the elderly, which makes sense, since you had quite a lot of them, I believe. Interesting to see how you cope from here. I don't think your starting 11 is far from being able to make a climb up the table.
Yea they have a good mix. The ones I let go have younger players at the position ready to step in. I did keep Tompkins and Joel Ward because I thought it would be more realistic to keep those two guys since they are seen as club captains.
Mili I have heard a lot of Palace fans say he should go so I felt comfortable selling him.
One player I did not want to sell but actually requested one is coming up.
Thanks. It is a challenge so far for sure. Playing ultimate on full manual and so far I have had games where I was dominated (Chelsea) and games I won kind of easy (cup match coming up). But overall I have not felt cheated or felt the game was not fair so it has been great.
Just need more time in a day for updates!
I like your signing of O'Connell, he could make a good partnership with Joachim AnsersEn, until the younger Guéhi takes the spot from one of them at some point. I also see Benteke as one who could benefit from playing in the Championship...
I have the Ayew video, just deciding if I’m going with a goal of the month or goal of the season type video yet. I have a few updates ready to go hopefully tonight.
O’Connell was one of the few left footed defenders I could find. I do not know much else about him so hopefully he works out.
Gallagher in midfield is also an interesting player IMO. I wonder if next order of business will be to turn his loan into a permanent deal...
You’re right, Zaha has always been the focus so I’m trying to spread the creativity around. Gallagher I am waiting until I play with him a few months. Most likely I try making it permanent but I want to test him out first.
He was top of my list once Zaha complained about lack of ambition and the board wanted me to spend my entire transfer budget. As a Spurs fan, I have wanted Madueke back since the day he left. Huge mistake by the club letting him walk!
That is what I am thinking. Eventually we will have an easier stretch of games and can catch up in the table. Playing Chelsea, West Han, Spurs, and Liverpool in the first 5 league games is a brutal start but can only get easier as the year goes on.
That eventually depends on whether the big teams are also the toughest to play against... Currently I'm having a harder time against Nottingham Forest and Fulham, than I have vs Liverpool. Just saying
I was going to make the same point as @gavin2903 about Madueke starting with a goal vs Spurs, who let him go, so not much more to say there. Just love the symbolism, and I guess the only thing better than a debut goal is a debut goal against a former club. Brilliant.
That is true, in FIFA you never know who is going to be the hardest team.
As a Spurs fan, I knew going in Madueke would score lol. Nothing more like Spurs than an academy player leaving, being good then scoring against them!
