How to defend players sprint in the wings?

I am Elite player (but only just, 1k7 SR), finding it is hard to defend those spam sprinting in the wings and passing for tap-in by the likes of Salah, Sterlings, Neymar etc.
How could you defend those? Please advise!

Faster full backs with high defensive work rate

Using varane as one of ur CB helps too as he blocks most of the cutbacks

I have Delaine 85 as LB and TOTYHM Walker as RB. Sadly 2 CBs are Kimpembe and Nif Varane as I have no coins left to upgrade

Delaine has medium defensive work rates,,I feel those as a penalty in game when defending runners,,maybe decrease ur depth a bit

what you can do is don't press /use the jockey commands, just use the left stick and don't fall for the zig zag , stand firm in one spot and then press 2nd man press to put off your opponent, while having the player you control standing to cut any movements
