Why isn't Ultimate difficulty available on main screen?

Told someone I now play career mode on Ultimate and he said there's no such thing.

It wasn't until I tried changing settings on main screen I realised legendary is the highest. But in my career mode save file settings I can select ultimate.
Is this a bug or intended for a reason?

I don't know, but I've witnessed the same. I also play on ultimate in career mode, so I was a bit surprised that it didn't exist, when I tried a "kick off" match a while ago.
