SBC price vs marked price, Laborde

I think SBCs in general has been to high priced this year.

Recently EA released a live card for Laborde at the same time as the POTM SBC is out. The marked price of the better, tradable and live card is a lot cheaper than the untradeable SBC one. Does not make sense to me. Are we "paying" too much for the SBC players ?

It would be nice if sbcs were cheaper but everyone complains about the market being cheap so we need more expensive sbcs to raise fodder.

About a third of the cost is the IF, so if you have an untradeable one then you're just looking mostly at 83s which go for very little.

For the flexibility to use untradeable players I don't find it outrageous that SBCs are higher than market price.

You pay more because EA knows u have fodder or will do it with fodder

I did the SBC POTM in advance knowing i would use him in swaps. And of course i packed his HL untradeable not long after

Through selectable Rivals rewards EA has defined untradeable cards at about half the price of tradeable ones.

As SBCs are untradeable they should be about half the price of the expected market price to be attractive to complete. I mean that this example with Laborde clearly shows that the SBC prices are way too high. The same goes for Icon SBCs.

It wouldn't be such a problem if EA weren't so lazy to just release special versions of players that already have a special version out already, often being given that upgrade recently.

Although saying that a lot of the SBCs are pitched too high.

I personally love to the opportunity to get something back for my endless amount of untradeables. I don't do too many player SBCs though, mostly just stick to one's that get me tradeable rewards
