Most of the content/modes needs to be revamped now.
TOTW, Icons, Icon sbcs, Draft rewards, WL red picks, Team rewards, Marquee Matchups, list goes on.
All simply not good enough I'm afraid.
Tell me about it. I like Draft, but winning those 4 games and getting less coins in return kinda defeats the purpose lol. Yeah I know, pack value but it's still awfull. A rare gold pack might be 30k in store but you rarely get more out of it then 3/4000 coins
Could replace totw with something similar to Headliner cards, instead of mutiple cards the same one just gets upgraded when they have a good performance or the team wins a certain amount of games, players would hold there value then instead of worthless cards all over the place
Totw is dead use to look forward to it but not any more
Everyone is complaining about all the juiced promos so not sure making totw better would help.
People complain about the promos but if they took them away they'd complain about a lack of content, also if it wasn't for the promo players everyone would probably still be using the likes of Dembele, Kimpembe, Fekir, Benzema etc. Nothing makes a FIFA more boring than coming up against the exact same players 95% of the time. Maybe if they toned down the promos a bit and juiced the TOTW up a bit they'd find a nice balance where both are useful

Something special now they are handicaps just for the links and that’s just 3 months in the game!

Why should I do an mid Icon sbc now if 95% of the icons are worse than the worst promocard players
Ofc i do the sbc , for the gamble or to play some of my childhood icons but it won’t be worth it anymore with these promo cards

I think you're spot on, the promo players probably should be taken down a notch. Some of the icons need a buff too in fairness. Some of those cards are as bad as some low rated gold cards
TOTW is a good concept and was a good idea until the promo cards went nuts, not just in how many but they kind of over did it this year with the bumps.
The Winter Wildcard cards for example are so far ahead of gold cards that it would take multiple informs to even get close.

The promo cards are really putting the power curve way too high at this point in the game. If EA keep doing this then we will have 95 rated players across the boards in early March
They "improved" TOTW a few years back by making all silver base players 75-80 rated gold turds, which was actually a strategy to sandbag guaranteed TOTW packs and red picks to have more filler.
There's just not much in there each week that's viable near high level meta. Maybe 1-2 cards per week. Sometimes none.
It's at a point where I'm skipping WL this weekend because these cards are not worth the exertion.
In the early years of FUT you felt special if you had a good IF in your team, but they have become mostly irrelevant for a variety of reasons. Another issue is that the boosts are absolutely irrelevant on 85+ rated NIFs, which means good players need to get 2-3 IFs before you notice a real difference.
I think totw is fine as they're not handing them out for tap ins anymore
Like Tapnaldo might’ve got one for his tap in and horrible first touch in the past, but not now
Tap ins just shouldn't be so rewarded

I had two from the past 2 WL's, got sick of holding onto them seeing as TOTW is always so poor. I also got Banega as my highest rated in both of them
