Why they quit at the 88th in rivals?

Many people quit at the end of the game in rivals.
I played a guy we were tied I got penalty at 88th. He tackled me and got red card. And he quit. What a pathetic person who do that!

The reason people quit right before the end of the game is because in their tiny little snowflake minds, they think they haven’t lost if they quit before the final whistle, and they don’t want to feel like a loser. Which is exactly what they are.

It is not fair!
I had a red card at the first half and kept playing.
But when he got red card at the end of the game and I got penalty.
I don't know what to say!

No dude, there was no delay bc he was winning and I got tied with him but he was mad bc I had 10 players from the first half. He is just ridiculous player! He think , he will not lose points.

I think that's what he did. The disconnect happened really quick.

So you found the explanation. He did not want to change his team for the next match due to the red card. Not fair but this is how the game is.

I see some people getting triggered because they do it all the time, this is one of the reasons why when my opponent quits while it's a draw (maybe make it when it happens in the second half) , they should give me the W not the game didn't count and the player record gets affected.

I don’t like people that quit when you have a penalty or when they get a red card, that’s wrong.. Other than that they can quit any time. Sportsmanship is very important to me.

Exactly. I mean I got a red card before he did. But I didn't quit. But probably he got mad bc I almost got the win but he quit. Some people have no sportsmanship at all!

Some people just hate getting beat plain and simple, there is rage quitters then you get the proper rage quitters with the pure angry red faces, if they can't have anything from the game then no one can.

Could see why it would be done in champs as still get a point. Rivals though wouldn't count as game for season milestone, ok if at 90 fair enough but surely no1 is there yet for this season.

Why though, why ruin someone else’s game and waste so much of their time? It shouldn’t be done at all.
