Make an attack, then just stand still controlling your striker after losing the ball and do nothing until EAs broken ai defending wins the ball back for you again?
What a ❤️❤️❤️❤️ way to play and it’s all down to EAs broken auto tackling and auto block. GG EA

It's been that way for a few years so you should be used to it. I can't believe how bad it is recently, one team has a clear advantage and you know instantly at kickoff if you're going to be ❤️❤️❤️❤️ over by underperforming side probably due to horrendous connection to servers. Or if you're going to glide about with ease and smash the other team, there is no skill required just drop back counter little effort, boring and It's never going to change either.

Quit and went back to old gen.

Next gen is just terrible.

For me old gen is far the more fun gameplay yes very similar to FIFA 21 but no auto drop back and ai involvement is nowhere near the level of next gen.

Yes it's not perfect but it's better than the ❤️❤️❤️❤️ show that is hypermotion in my opinion.

And yes I played next gen only for about 3months before moving back to old gen.

Unfortunately change for worse is still a change. I play new gen too because cant bring myself to ditch New expensive console and because the competitive side is on ps5.

Because I am bored of it. It's a stupid way of playing Fifa. Passing is nerfed to oblivion and all you face are dribbling fairies dancing around the 16. Have seen enough of that last year. But I understand why most want to go back to what they are familiar with.

Fifa 22 was fun at the start. EA should not have touched it

Dumped New Gen yesterday and Old Gen seems a lot better, the auto blocks and drop back on New Gen is absolutely ridiculous and ruins the game completely.

How EA havent made this a priority to fix is beyond me, its so obvious and a clear issue, its embarrassing that they dont seem bothered by this, I imagine the player base is too low for them to care, or worse they cant fix it.

Every FIFA is quality until they begin patching it to oblivion. They never learn or change.

Is this only in lower divisions? If my opponent doesn't control his defenders I can score no problem? Same for me if ever I don't control my defence properly it usually results in conceding?

My cbs will just let players straight in on goal if I don't control them.
