A psychological question: you are 3-4 goals up and then...

You get the ball to your keeper and just sit there with the ball. What do you exactly want? (Rivals and Fut Champs)
Annoy the opponent by teasing/mocking him and eventually hoping he quits?
Dо not want to play against him anymore bc he is pathetic?
Trying to score even more goals by drawing him to your half?
Resting mid-game (taking a sip or dealing with your pets)?

anything else.

I mean, I'm just wondering. If I'm playing against somebody like that I usually take the ball and keep it myself in my half. Believe it or not, it is 100% sure that they will try to get the ball back. Obviously, I don't rq or forfeit, i play all my games all the way except for gg games

I played someone today who was blatantly better than me and 5-2 up, I scored. He then basically done all of the above.
  • I am really puzzled. This ais done by both opponent types - those absolutely better and those scoring rat goals and celebrating.

Yeah some of the player base are very immature. Especially one sided gameplay they score 4-5 and start doing that fake kick, passing it around the back just to make you quit. There was a time people used to play for fun but now is win by any means and be as toxic as possible. It’s a regular occurrence.

If I am 3-4 goals up I carry on playing as normal, 3-4 goals isn't the end of the world and I am sure at some point in the FIFA years we have been on the receiving end of a ridiculous comeback

Yesterday in Wl qualify someone went 4-1 up and started doing celebrations and just keeping the ball in his own half so i just moved my players and he scored 11 goals celebrating all of them lol . I still qualified by the way :)

I never quit if I am taking a beating. I am going to ensure you stay there and we waste each others time. I never quit even if I am 3 goals , or more down .

What do you do when you are losing by 3 or 4 goals?

I try to play as usual, attempting to score at least one, naturally, not as hard, but still want to play

I rarely relent. The purpose of the game is to win and score goals. I also try not to quit out I've come back from 5-0 to win the game on plenty of occasions.

    Ok.

My view is that a 3 goal lead is not entirely safe. Lets just say a comedy of ai errors can occur that would seem to be highly unfair, and that lead can vanish, so if you are playing a competitive mode & the op doesn’t quit, keep playing and win, don’t let up.

If it’s an objective mode& I need the win I usually give a goal or whatever but still protect my lead — but this entire game is really just not a big deal in the grand scheme of things — people are playing it for so many reasons & two years into a pandemic has affected us all in ways Md/PhDs will conduct piles of research and theories upon…
