As in topic. Is it fun to play 41212 narrow like a ❤️❤️❤️❤️ rat? And have most of your players on stay back, come back on defence, spam trough balls to your front 3 with instuction to get in behind. And dont forget to use the corner clitch every time you get a corner. Btw dont forget to trust the AI defending and just move your gk instead. Yep I lost a lot to this strategy this weekend (elite, fut champs and qualifier). It seems that many players play like this right now I know its fun to win but for real?

I assume you don't use through balls, move your GK, have the AI defend for you at any point throughout the match and you have nobody on stay back.

Accept that you lost, you were not good enough in that match to get the win and move on.

Winning is more fun, so people will do what works. I blame EA for their system than people doing what is most effective.

The problem is everyone plays for rewards. No ones prepared to take a risk and do something non meta and have fun for fear of missing out on some poxy reward.

I do the rewards are not exactly excellent but its pointless as everyone you play does the same thing it just gets boring

It's weird, last WL pretty much every person I played against sprinted straight at me from kickoff. The week, only 1 in 20 opponents did it.

It's so easy to defend against 99% of the time, but it's that 1% where you cannot switch to the player you want, or the ball bounces back to the strikers and they score some ❤️❤️❤️❤️ cheap goal that drives me insane.

Yes Graham mate the rewards are just a load of rubbish 95% of the time I can't understand what people think they are going to miss out on.

The formation itself is pretty fun, but only people on stay back should be the defenders and CDM if used correctly. Been hit with the corner glitch so many times though 🥺

I play this formation with attacking full backs and fall back CDM on 71 depth. Offensively, you have a lot of opportunities, but you are very vulnerable to counterattacks.

Past couple of days seem to have been the worst ever for me in terms or people just keeping everyone back and not even trying to play football until you make a mistake.

I could have actually just passed around the middle of the park with zero engagement from the opponent. But if that’s what’s fun for you then fair enough.

What’s wrong with this formation?

I don’t get it, you can moan about the corner glitch etc but why can’t people use this formation? I like it as Im a quick pass and play type of guy, running down the wings is not for me.

The formation doesn't matter most of the people play the same style regardless, 6-7 players always stay back, drop back or low depth to the pt their strikers is almost on their own box and as soon as they get the ball sprint forward since stamina doesn't matter, over the top ball that requires basically no aim and hope for the break to work
