So thats it for me for this year , just not having fun and fedup with it .

1, fed up with playing nice football up the pitch them if lose ball one big hard pass upfield and they score

2 not that impressed with the ps5 version,believed the hype more fool me .

3 fed up with the ammount of untradable packs in game now .

4 weekend league does not even feel like a competative mode this year to me

5 did the best i could in rivals to get as high as i can. In div 1 and now hardley compete most games, not fun at all

6 fed up with long over the top balls every game .

7 fed up with how watered down the league sbc are now, compared to a couple of years ago, that was my fun grind , been taken away, they are shocking compared to fifa 20 .

8 Icon swaps coming out and just cant be bothered with them . i used to really like it

9 for me was finding it hard to do rtg , not much pack luck and only traded to 1.5m , but with that can not compete with most teams i face, but thats most likely my skill level too

There are others, they are a few . First time i stopped this early , may try career mode but no fut .

Fun isn't it. The addiction is there because we all love football. Come back to it day after day hoping things will be consistent, balanced, and the expected result of a pass/shot/tackle/interception to happen, but it never does. Get lured back in with promos and rewards but it's never worth it

Op makes some really good points. And I think most of us can relate. I find the lag, input lag, or whatever you may call the inconsistency of the game a deal breaker. Next to my professional career and being a father and husband I need something that’s just about Me in my life. Some people read, some play dungeons and dragons but I play FIFA. That has been my thing for 10s of years. Last year was the first year I started doubting if I should continue playing but with COVID I really didn’t have much of a chance. This year I think EA did a terrible job. And I’m contemplating of stopping aswell.

And I think EA Really doesn’t care, unless there will be a 2nd party that creates a better game.

Similar situation too me, the timesink into FUT doesnt seem worth it. I sold everything and have 3m and just cant be bothered.

The better my squad got the worse it seemed to play which had me questioning whats the point really, my Fekir is better than my 92 Puskas, Kimpembe better than 88 Pique, 84 De Gea better than 89 Casillas etc..

It all just seems not worth the hassle, the gameplay is constantly changing be it patches or connection/servers which make you great one minute and awful the next.

Then you add in a community which can be one of the worst and it all just leaves you staring at the screen wondering why you bother.

I havent played in a week, no rival rewards or SB etc.

On to that, the rewards dont even seem worth it due to all the above.

This is definitely my last FUT as I wont be doing this again in 23 or anytime soon, will probably keep 22 for a few years and not buy anymore.

I even tried Career Mode the other day and its also bad.

Only thing that is keeping me somewhat interested is Icon Swaps to see if I will miss anything if I do get back into it at some point.

Good luck mate, I'm same... its so boring to play this year. I'm taking a break for however long it ends up being. There's just much better ways to spend my gaming time now warzone new map is out.

I going to keep trading in a minimal way send probably be back in a couple months once I'm bored of warzone.... last time I did this I got green Sterling card in my first preview pack I opened on return 🤣... 2.2 mil. Cheers! .... wonder what returning player prize I'll get this time 🤣

It’s very boring, mainly because we’ve been playing the same game (with little cosmetic upgrades every year) for so many years….
I mean kick-off goals are still a thing…that proves it’s exactly the same game as fifa 19-20-21….

The fact everyone had every player they wanted at the end of 21 yet nobody wants to play it again speaks to the fact this game is a waste of time.

I play Fifa on a Thursday and Friday for Rivals and WL. The rest of the time I enjoy playing other games, find it works best for me so I don't get annoyed with the game.
