Feels great to use, which sucks because he should have been so much better. 5 star weak foot is so valuable, I'm really disappointed and confused as to why he got such a crappy upgrade for an SBC, especially since they snubbed him for a TOTW a couple times for this...I wonder if we'll even get another special Mertens this year. How is he in comparison to Dybala? Worth it?
still too early for me to say really, I used Dybala for like 600 games this FIFA so I have a soft spot for him and Dybala's been performing even at this point in elite, that said, Mertens only has 10 games so far BUT, I recently switched formations and Dybala dropped to CAM instead of striker for me, and I found his performances dropped off there, probably due to work rates? H/L on Mertens is really noticeable and the 4 star weak foot is a decent bit better than the 3, so I'm finding he's more involved at CAM when attacking, makes better runs too
but then Dybala is like 20K and this SBC about 100, would probably stick with Dybala considering that
