I have not seen much about the create a club, I know it's not for everyone. I wanted to give it a shot, see if I could build a club up to the Premier League, adding a new stadium along the way to give myself budget constraints. After messing around with fake teams and trying to come up with something new, I decided to go with a small club that everyone has probably heard about from the FA Cup run when they lost to Tottenham.
This career is starting with Marine being promoted to league 2 after updating their facilities following the money raised during the FA Cup run when 40 million people watched on BBC worldwide.
Starting with simple kits, I plan to improve kits as we move up the ranks. Going month by month for results, if/when I reach the Premier League I might switch to going match by match like I have in previous careers.
Marine FC
The Club was formed in 1894 by a group of local businessmen and former college students, taking its name from the hotel on the River Mersey sea front at Waterloo, seven miles to the north of Liverpool, where the founders met. They moved to their present ground The Marine Travel Arena (formerly known as Rossett Park) in 1903.

This is great, looking forward to see what you'll achieve here! I have to say you've been gifted with a squad that looks ready for more than league two football. Perrier at 73 and Taylor at 70. Holmes, Lawson, Myers 69. Obviously overall rating isn't everything, but it seems to me this lot is ready for an instant promotion.

You are right. I am surprised by some of the ratings because I am only 1.5 stars overall. I do have a very poor depth in the squad though. I have 3 CBs, 2 LB, 2 RB, 1 true CDM and one 2 players at each attacking position. With how busy the lower leagues schedule is, a few injuries and I’m in trouble.
I spent nearly all my budget money on three low level scouts.
A perfect start to the season and life as a professional club for Marine. Winning four of the first five league matches as well as knocking out Championship side QPR in the Carabao Cup before being eliminated by League 1 side Charlton Athletic.
Midfielder Jenson Lawson scored the first goal of the season for Marine in the first half of a 2-2 draw against Stevenage. Marine went ahead 2-0 before allowing goals in the 68' and 87' minute to end with only a point.
The second match of the year was the first home match for Marine in front of a sold out crowd at Rossett Park of 9,124 fans. Marine came out on a mission scoring three goals in the first 40 minutes against a weakened QPR side. The highlight of the match was 35 year old Richard McNamee scoring from way outside the box for Marine.
Three 1-0 victories followed with striker Harrison Harrington scoring the winning goals in back to back matches including a 87' goal against Hartlepool. Harrington, 31, is tied with Harley Holmes and Jerome Perrier with 2 goals each to lead Marine.
The only defeat of the month came at Charlton Athletic, a league 1 side in the Carabao Cup. Chartlon scored in the 15' to take an early lead and held on until the 90' when Connor Washington added a second to put the game away.
Defense has been the key for Marine in the opening month. Three clean sheets for goalkeeper Charlie Harris in five games. Marine are outscoring their opponents 8 to 3 so far this year.
After one month into the season we have a better idea of the squad provided. We did have to sign 2 CB's from free agency just to have enough players for the busy schedule of 7 games this past month.

A terrible month for Marine following the great opening month of the season. Starting with the loss to Oldham Athletic, a goal in the 7' minute of the match was the only goalmouth action for 90 minutes. Three draws followed with only 2 goals all month being scored.
Looking at the positives, Marine took 3 points from four matches against the top teams in the league but will feel they lost points against Newport County in a match Marine completely dominated but could not score. Newport ended with more yellow cards (5) than shots on goal (3) but still had the best chance to score with a penalty that Charlie Harris saved.
More bad news for Marine, starting right midfielder Alex Fowler tore his ACL and will miss 7 months. The already thin attacked will need to find a way to keep the attack going until January when Boog will look to strengthen the squad through transfers or the academy.
Good luck, yeah hopefully you can get far in this career and be the first person to get a created club in the top flight on here, honestly so far so good seeing you are 4th in League two.
Damn, I just hate these 7 months injuries. I've just endured this myself with a promising young 18 year old. It really smashes up plans, and 7 months is a really long time!
Tough luck with a poor month for Marine FC. However, in my experience the game is more fun, when you're chasing something in stead of being runaway league leaders with an almost certainty of winning it all. So I wouldn't be too upset about a poor run of results.
I like your buildup here, a text-based story with a few graphics to visualize it. Well done so far.
