Struggling more since moving to new gen console, any help or advice plz

Moved to new gen console yesterday and really struggling. Gameplay is very slow, heavy and my players just seem to be thicker than concrete. My connection is fine and same as what it was on old gen, any advice on getting to grips with new gen gameplay or settings to change ect. Cheers

Honestly, the next gen version of FIFA is awful, it needs more development time.

You just need to get used to it honestly, i didnt like it at first but now its all gucci.

Get used to left stick sensitivity and different animations passing and shooting depending on your aim (hard press vs slightly from center) you need to routinely reset (let go of left stick) during build up and trapping the ball. I'm not sure if I worded it clear enough but know one thing all of that goes out the window in delay gameplay and it becomes hypershetshow.

Hang in there , keep playing. I prefer the next gen because it is a lot more challenging. Forget the results when you match people online. Try to see what style they play and you can get some hints.

I lost loads of games yesterday, however since bumping my dept to 82 , it has improved my game.

Yesterday I was constantly getting pressured and it was so crazy.. I tried doing the same , but my back line were all over... I went up against someone yesterday and he pressured all game and was depleted

What I do now is never let my opponent time on the ball... once you can get a good technique of player switching, your game play will improve. Sitting back is asking for more pressure on your defense. I play both 442 variations, 4231 and 451..

I use all gold players. Get you a varane and VVD... they are insane if you know how to use them

Took a few weeks off fut champs and aiming to spend some time on rivals currently in div 2 rank 2 .. I want to hit elite and get some experience there...

Forget the results, go in there to test tactics x playstyles etc and from there you can figure what best fits your game style

Try using Telebroadcast 17 by 7 height ... use a monitor, I bought the mobiuz ex2510... turned off hdr, turned off scenery, using racing mode. ama on 2 and I have over scan on

Can you guys find games on the new gen? I’m getting nothing in PS5 and it’s just not fun. I can’t find anything in the silver lounge or to do any of the milestone objectives. I mainly have the game to play it on line, so it’s frustrating to have a little time to play and not be able to do so.

Sometimes after canceling and restarting search untill it matches instantly but late evenings are a bust anyway in my area. It wasn't the case with 21 even at the time of freshly out new consoles.

Thanks…I had read some people were having issues but had no idea it was like this. I haven’t gotten a match all morning, even after changing my setting to the widest match making. And I agree, it never happened in 21.

Friendlies, you won't find much....you can find games in fut champs and div rivals...I noticed i can find games faster when I am hard wired compared to wifi

Thanks. I am always wired as well. Having just gotten the game I wasn’t ready to jump in to rivals and take some meetings but I guess I’m going to have to

I dont know for certain but i think they expanded the amount of servers. Me for instance is located in Norway and gets mostly matched up against people in Scandinavia, Finland and Russia. Which wasnt the case in fifa 20 where i was matched up against people all over EU. So more local matchmaking combined with people being spread out on 4 consoles instead of 2 is the reason for long matchmaking i think.

According to this its a server in Stockholm i assume im connected to whereas in fifa 20 people spoke about most people where connected to the notorious Düsseldorf (or Frankfurt?) server
