Don't think it's anything to do with EA. You are charging the funds back from Sony or Microsoft so they lose out not EA. That's why they console ban.
This. If you do a chargeback, your bank refunds you and then gets that money from Sony/Microsoft as that's where the purchase was made. As it would be a nightmare for them to contest all the charges that get made, they just call it a tos violation and hardware ban you. Onus is then on you to prove that the chargeback was legit (rather than them proving the opposite).
I wouldn't consider it tbh. If you feel this strongly, chalk it down to experience, uninstall, and move on.
