Just a few thoughts

I usually lurk around and read your comments but do not write my ideas down.
Today is different because I feel, for the first time and despite all my weaknesses that I´m perfectly find with, that something is not right.
I´m 45 years old, terrible player, getting worse every year because my reflexes cannot cope with younger people. Also, I have always sucked at this game
I usually have to be on my best to qualify for weekend League and wether I make it or not, I seem to always get in or not by one game. Normally, If I find the time, I try to scrap a second chance by winning games in rivals.
I have no clue how I got in division 2 in Rivals and now, if I miss weekend League on my first "chance" I cannot do it anymore because I simply cannot win on Rivals. Everyone is far superior to me on that division, which I perfectly understand, despite the fact that I´m in there also and I feel like a fish out of water.
Even to get 7 wins in Rivals seem just impossible to me at this point and when you keep loosing game after game, there is no fun at all.
I simply don´t understand how can I join a division way above my level, get stuck there and not only I can´t play weekend League but now Rivals also, because it is not fun at all.
Another issue that puzzles me, is that it doen´t matter if I try an expensive player like Di Natale or a 20K David, they always perform kind the same for me. It just puzzles me.
I have always played accepting my level and playstyle and therefore had fun one way or another. This year it has been totally different for me.
Anyway, sorry about the rantle but I feel frustrated as I usually like to play but right now I really don´t know what to do.

I do not mind loosing at all actually, IF the game is a good football game and its in the hands of me or my opponent. OK I don't like getting stiffed by 5 or 6 but a couple of goals either way and I enjoy it win or loose.
What I HATE is when Im loosing to those exploiting FIFA rather than playing football (you know the tactics), to those playing players out of position (wingers at striker, strikers at CM etc) and when its not in our control (lag, players not doing what you instruct them to when you instruct them to etc). Thoses are what make Fifa unbearable and not enjoyable for an old football fan.
Unfortunately, every year that goes by, those 3 things are more and more prevalent.
Would you consider trying efootball paul mate?
I'm in the same boat, Div 1 rank 1 and no business being there.
When I'm relegated at season end to Div3 I will be thinking long and hard about letting the game promote me just because I won a couple of matches, never mind the fact I've been losing hand over fist in the rest of my games.
Do not be mistaken, I´m a poor player, no matter if I got to division 2 and sometimes qualify for weekend league. At this moment I´m trying, for the first time, to add time shooting to my very poor qualities, but more often than not only getting red. So satisfying when I actually get a green shot! Nevertheless, I score even less than when I don´t use the time shooting because I get so many reds that is sort of ridiculous!
Trying to evolve anyways!
I’m honestly considering ditching it completely as it’s not worth my time or effort.
In regards to high end players, i score more with my 78 rated striker more than I did with Di Natale or Klose ! Pace wins unfortunately

Wide array of legends, and you can also create legends too and make them available on the market in career mode.
Unfortunately, efootball 22 has been a disaster and has handed EA an open goal.

I magically got to div 5, which is the highest I have ever been in any FIFA, I think, but I just met Gods of the ball.
I got demoted to Div 7 where it's a little easier, but some players still way outclass me.
It's a very unusual football game that makes you happy to be demoted
I’m in same boat.
My decision is to rover now after being in 1 and losing 80 games to 3 wins, I will now stay in a division I am winning at least 50 percent. I won’t stay in a div if I’m hammering players that’s not who I am.
But do what’s best for you mate. Don’t go back in 2 as it’s not your level and they are good players up there.
I hope you find fun again mate I really do. Unfortunately this game is just not very fun right now.
I agree with all the above comments about the types of tactics employed. I try to play a slow build up to create space and utilise passing as I’m not a real skiller but it’s so frustrating to be undone by two passes through to crazy fast players. Sadly, pace does still dominate team selection and until it doesn’t, a lot of the players are rendered fairly useless.
Anyway - good to see all of the more ‘experienced’ players still out there!
