Notts County Football Club is a professional association football club based in Nottingham, England. The team participates in the National League, the fifth tier of the English football league system. Founded in 1862, they are the oldest professional association football club in the world, and predate the Football Association itself. The club became one of the 12 founder members of the Football League in 1888. They are nicknamed the "Magpies" due to the black and white colour of their home strip, which inspired Italian club Juventus to adopt the colours for their kit in 1903. After playing at different home grounds during their first fifty years, including Trent Bridge, the club moved to Meadow Lane in 1910 and have remained there since. Notts County hold a local rivalry with city neighbours Nottingham Forest, as well as with other nearby clubs such as Mansfield Town. Notts County finished third in the top flight of English football in the 1890–91 season, which, together with the same achievement 10 seasons later, remains their highest ever league position. They also reached the 1891 FA Cup Final, finishing as runners-up to Blackburn Rovers. However three years later the club won the 1894 FA Cup Final with a 4–1 victory over Bolton Wanderers. From 1897 until 1920 they played in the First Division which was then the top flight, barring the 1913–14 season when they won the Second Division immediately following relegation the previous year. They won the Second Division for a third time in the 1922–23 campaign, before suffering relegations down to the Third Division South, which they won in their first attempt in 1930–31.

The club were back in the Third Division South by World War II, but were again promoted as champions in 1949–50 and spent most of the 1950s in the second tier before successive relegations saw them drop back into the Fourth Division. County won promotion as runners-up in 1959–60. They returned to the fourth tier by 1964, but were promoted as champions in the 1970–71 season, before securing promotion out of the Third Division under the stewardship of Jimmy Sirrel in 1972–73. They made their return to the top flight by finishing as runners-up of the Second Division in 1980–81. County were relegated after a three-season stay, and ended the decade back in the third tier before Neil Warnock masterminded play-off successes in 1990 and 1991 that saw them promoted back into the top flight. However, they were immediately relegated, thus missing out on the first-ever season of Premier League football. They fell back into the basement division by 1997–98, but managed to finish the season as champions. Following a financial crisis they were relegated again in 2004, before they won the League Two title in 2009–10 amid a takeover bid from a Middle Eastern consortium that eventually fell through despite great publicity and initial expectations. County were relegated back to the bottom tier at the end of the 2014–15 season, and remained there until the end of the 2018–19 season, when they were relegated from the Football League for the first time.

Crazy news as Scunthorpe gets auto-relegated to nationals due to financial trouble. Notts County is the team replacing them in EFL League Two, due to their immense stadium capacity of about 19,000.
Notts county appoints new manager Chamoun.
    Notts-County-FC.png
    Details:
This is basically a create a club Career mode since they're not on FIFA. Basically, this is the oldest club in the History of the game and they got financially ruined by a group of people who were supposedly rich. Sol Campbell and Kasper Schmeichel played for them. Campbell immediately left because he wasn't getting paid, and Schmeichel decided to keep playing (traveling to away games on his own) because he was just released by Man City and wanted to play football. They got relegated from EFL in 2019 and now their financial are bad, but better than most teams in their division and they've got possibly EFL Championship stadium capacity. By the way I did it first time I got sacked (link:https://fifaforums.easports.com/en/discussion/610827/oldest-club-in-history-rebuild-notts-county-fc/p1?new=1), so this thread is attempt number 2.
    Board expectations: Small club
    Rivals: Mansfield Town
    Stadium: Meadow Lanes
    Nickname: Magpies
    1st season transfer budget: 1M

    Issues:
Unfortunately, I will have to play with a generated roster, and not with their IRL roster, we'll have to live with it...

    Rules:
    Legendary + Sliders
    6 min halves
95% of signings have to be from the UK
    Max players salary: 3k
    No overusing the youth academy

    First season roster:
    1stseasonroster.png
    Starting XI
    Starting-XI.png
    ST: False 9
    LW/RW: Cut inside/Get in behind
    CM: Howard Get forward
    CM: Webb: Balanced
CDM: Drop between defenders/Cut Passing Lanes
    LB/RB: Overlap
    CB: Stay Back
    Board expectations:
    • Youth development (Medium priority):
Sign 1 player in youth academy assigned to a DEF position. (Done)
Sign 2 players younger than 20. (Done)
    • Brand exposure: (Very low priority)
Get a streak of 3 clean sheets in away games (1/3)
    • Financial (medium):
Make 12,9M profit from youth academy sales within 2 seasons
    • Domestic (Very Low):
Avoid finishing in the bottom of the league (Last)
      FA Cup R16 (Failed)
    Signings:
Shayden Morris RW 58 19 ENG
    Fee: 450k
    Salary: 1k/month
A quick winger was much needed. He's this year's marquee signing.
Connor Teale CB 50 18 ENG
    Fee: 100k
    Salary 750/month
We desperately needed more depth at the CB position. This guy is a very young CB with a lot of room to grow.

what are the main critical/high priority objectives set by the board? I think some game management should be used here to keep you in the job. ;) good to see you back posting after the sack. I am hoping for big things this time!

    Youth development (Medium priority):

    Sign 2 younger than 20
    Brand exposure: (Very low priority)
Get a streak of 3 clean sheets in away games (used to be 5 in any match)
FInancial (medium): Make 12,9M profit from youth academy sales within 2 seasons (used to be keep salary growth under 20%)
    Domestic (Very Low):
Avoid finishing in the bottom of the league
FA Cup R16 (where's the logic? was there in both saves)

EFL League Two Matchday 1: (H)
    GW1v-Swindon.png
Comments: Always good to open the season with a win. Felt comfortable in the beginning. We scored two deserved goals. Then we conceded, and we were being dominated for the rest of the half. The second half also had a little bit of panic and some mess, but we held our one-goal lead.
    PS:
I changed the sliders a little bit, mostly kept everything at 50 but included the following changes:
    60 AI Shot error
    30 User Shot error
    30 AI GK ability
70 User injuries (I don't see them very often which lacks realism)
30 Injury severity (Long injuries aren't that common either)
I changed them in the next few games to slightly harder and I think that's how I'll settle but I wanted to mention the sliders for that first game.
Also thoughts on the new graphics? Pretty basic, done mostly on PP, final retouche on GIMP. It's honestly not really my thing but I wanna make it look respectable.

The latest imagine isn't showing up right, so once you sort that out I'll comment on the graphics

Good to hear you won the first game, end of the day just play around with the sliders and you'll find something perfect and as you get better at the game adjust them

    Comments:
In the first two games, we just got outclassed by a better opponent. Colchester is also deservedly at the top of the table right now. Wycombe is in EFL League one (in case you didn't know...)
The next two games were much tighter, we clinched a well-deserved equalizer in the final minutes vs Walsall, and ended up conceding late to Sutton. We might want to pick up more points from tight games if we want to be comfortable at the end of the season

What might the issue be? The code is perfectly fine I think:

Comments: Results aren't the best however that Exeter win really gives hope. A very good win against a team that's playing for a promotion play-off spot is what we needed. We just need more consistency now.

Terrible defeat to Northampton Town, followed by an equally brilliant win vs Exeter City. Hope you'll improve and soon realize where to add to the squad come January. Looking forward to see how you approach the transfer window.

Losses still coming, but when the wins come they're satisfying. Plus some of those losses are actually quite close against some decent teams, so we're not quite in disaster zone yet.

Bad run of games, that draw to Crawley was so frustrating, conceding in additional time. We were cruising at halftime. That Barrow game was a close, back, and fourth open game but they got the better of us in the end.
We defended well against Forest but didn't create enough, and they got one and got the win. We really need to get better results.

Btw my bad in the promotion news,
due to a small injury which causes the main goalkeeper's unavailability**.
