Probably for once doing something good, which is making higher valued players more attainable. Better rewards in the short run might mean more supply of cards, but in the long run it means more coins on the market.
I preferred the rare mega packs to rare players packs because I collected lots of position change and chem cards as well as nearly as many players as the 50k packs. This year all the consumables will cost the earth on the market. I even ran out of contracts in the trial - unheard off.

90 games played at Div 7 is a Jumbo Rare Player pack and a rare electrum so its not too bad tbh
Elite 3 in SB is also two 50k packs
Wasn't that good last year
Less reward = less coins = lower market
It will benefit the casual player
Maybe because people were complaining how bad the pack weight was last year.
and thats why most of the boards/walkouts are not worth nothing..
How do you get the 50k packs in Elite 3 SB?
I got elite 3 in SB and got 2 rare electrum player packs with Hradecky and Mount as highest players.
Because rare mega pack guarenteed at least one 82 rated this year so technically it's better 50k pack. I got 81 rated cards in both packs for elite 1
I think he meant Elite 1.
Which is why cards are going to be so cheap noone is going to have coins. Seems like EA pushing untradables more and more
