Good signing, but much bigger issues than just their midfield. Whole team/culture needs a clear out.

Is Haaland City's first big signing who can genuinely claim to be going there for at least for some personal reasons and not money, given his father played for them?
Sure, money is still a big part of it... but at least he's got a personal connection to the club. :D

What about footballing reasons? If anything, we were the ones using money to pry away their targets

@Antparry92 thoughts on the potential Kenyon deal?

I honestly don’t know. Is it better the devil you know than the devil you don’t? American ownerships don’t excite me either, with their love for super leagues and other Americanisms.

What are non Arsenal fans thoughts on the Jesus deal?

I think it’s good, but worry that expectations are to be 20 goals a season striker, but I’m sure he prefers the wing and isn’t renowned for being clinical

I don't even like City but wanting to be managed by one of the best ever in Pep is a good enough sporting reason, and obviously the high profile of the club and the fact that they're competing to win each competition they take part in. Any "big signing" you're talking about would've gotten similar money elsewhere anyways, so nobody is going there purely for money reasons. Likes of Oscar leaving Chelsea to go to China or Talisca to Saudi league etc.. now those are the $$ chasing moves.

If you want to win trophies, why wouldn’t you go to City?
Add in great squad and manager
    Premier League football
    Well run club
It’s not the early days of the takeover anymore :D

    Man City.

    - Can live in a nice place in Cheshire
    - Have some of the best sporting facilities to train when it isn't a game day
    - Play under what many say is the best manager in football right now
    - Get a good respected wage for your position in the team and comparable to all teams in Europe
    - Play in the best league in the world, competing for all the trophies

The only downside I would say is the fans aren't great, you see when you have the bus parades it's pretty dead.

With Kalvin Phillips to Man City done, they have the most valuable midfield pairing in the world according to TransferMarkt.

No. 2? West Ham’s Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek.
