I was playing the WL and became friends with this guy. I'm 22-7 and he tells me that he doesn't need his last game, and he is happy to give it to me to help out. The match starts and this man is trying his hardest, and he is a good player. Turns out, he was 26-3 and got me to match-up with him for an easy Elite 1... but Karma is a wonderful thing and I won the game 1-0 in extra time.
It's September and people are doing this. Just wow.
Hope you guys had a good WL, I'm happy I managed to scrape by Elite. Need to finish that Gullit SBC.

I have no interest in FIFA 22 after playing the Beta. I want to finish the year with Moments Gullit in my team. Need a lot of foddler for that and the WL is a great way to get it.
If EA ever release a generations game mode, I'll come back.

September is where most people have their best squads. I’m not sure why you wouldn’t want to play. I mean it’s my only chance I have had to use such a decent team!
Absolutely mate, after collecting all these cards I can’t just abandon everything because there’s a new release coming.
I played one yesterday when i was on +7 or so form versus a guy who pretty much blasted me away in 30 mins. How much of this was ability and how much was OP custom tactics i`ll never know but anyway, put controller down and went in the kitchen.
Returned as 2nd half was kicking off. He`d put his controller down too
Sadly the tale takes a bad turn as he beat me 5-4 with an extra time double rebound, tackle effort but I think the telling thing is that last half hour we played was fairly even whereas the first half hour I couldnt get near him. Make of that what you will. Shady
I’m staying on until FIFA23 too. Haven’t spent all year grinding to get the best cards to go play with Joe Gomez and John stones in defence in fifa 22 for 4 months.

He is an Elite 1-2 player and thought me, someone barely getting Elite 3, would be easy prey. But I won. He told me he was 17-6 to try to bait me into matching up with him as well. He is just sad and desperate.

Once both people have a form of 15+, it's easy. On PS5 you can do a little trick to see the PSN ID of your opponent during the kit screen too
